www.docdroid.net/2zCxMvK/noelgallaghervanityfair2017.pdfNoel Gallagher on this week's issue of Vanity Fair Italy (15 November issue) About Italians who chat on their phones on the beach of Formentera "a fascinating phenomenon" On his wife
"I love to see her cooking while I say bullshit" On Isis
"I'd suggest Isis not to cut heads off but make people try yoga. That stuff broke me in two" --- "I listen to my album every day, It's undoubtedly my favourite record" "I have this special badge whose colours are Man City ones" [...] On Oasis and LiamDo you have nostalgia for Oasis? "It's not healthy to be nostalgic in your job sphere. Nevertheless, I'm not so stupid to ignore that people come to my gigs to listen to Oasis songs, but the main thing is the reason why I'm there, for the new songs. So we can all go home happy" Your brother Liam told us a few months ago that you cannot sing Oasis songs. "I think Liam needs a psychiatrist and I'm not joking this time. He's exaggerating, he's got too much anger inside him and it doesn't do any good at his age. Saying that, I see him happy making his things, I'm happy doing my things. It's all good" Liam said that he wants to make up with you but he doesn't manage to do it because a lot of people stand between you two. "Really? And where are all these people when he sits in front of his Twitter account and he comes after my wife too? Common sense says that you can never tell what is going to happen, but I can tell you something I'm 100% sure of. Me and him will never get back on a stage. He has to accept it. It's over" You, on the other hand, don't like social media. "No, I was raised with another attitude, but nowadays rock stars want to tell you where they go shopping too. For instance, I've learnt more about my brother since he's been using Twitter than before, and that's bad because you wanna think of artists being happy on stage and irreverent, not full of grudge" [...] This is just a quick translation of some bits I made now. If anybody wants it I can translate the whole interview tomorrow. Let me know "LIAM, we'll never meet again"

Noel does know Instagram is a form of social media, doesn't he? Isn't Sara the one running that? I wonder if he even knows about the account.

In Be Careful What You Wish For he advises his daughter Anais to focus on her job. "I will never tell you what to do, make your mistakes but always focus on your job, because fame kills people. And her mother (Meg) is obsessed with celebrity"

"LIAM, we'll never meet again" Did he really say that in this interview? He didn't say they'll never meet again but they'll never get back on stage together.

Líam and Noël's relationship reminds me of Michael and Frêdo Corleoné's relationship in the Godfather movies....
Godzilla Bless.

He didn't say they'll never meet again but they'll never get back on stage together. So why did he put this quote at the end of his post? 🤔 Because it's the big headline of the article, it's not what Noel said but i guess that headline is more edgy than a simple "we'll never work together again". It's more like "we'll never see each other (on stage) again".

You're not a brother, you're not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do." Next interviewer asks about Liam: "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

He didn't say they'll never meet again but they'll never get back on stage together. So why did he put this quote at the end of his post? 🤔 The European press in general seem to use paraphrased statements as quotes fairly often, it's not something I see much elsewhere. As for the interview itself: Liam's said he wants to become Noel's brother again. Not necessarily for the sake of Oasis, but because they're brothers. Bit unfair to present it to Noel as though Liam's actively begging for a reunion.

"It was you, Liam." You KNOW Noel says a lot of this stuff just because he knows Liam will read it and it suits his royal mood to pour salt on the wound. As for Liam insulting Sara, didn't Noel just call Nicole a "divvy" bird? Sara isn't immune from Noel's insults, either--there have been occasions of him popping off at her when he felt like it. Now she just smiles and doesn't speak; he's probably had her turned into a Stepford Wife, poor thing. But she does look gorgeous on the WBTM album cover and she's a saint to put up with The Chief and his wicked ways.

The difference with Liam and Noel is this - with Liam all the Twitter jibes are very much just 'banter' and Liam throwing a few sarcy comments out there to ruffle the feathers. Stuff that Noel has been saying in response to this is out-and-out bitterness.
Sara's a big girl, she can take what Liam has thrown at her, and she's fired shots herself, as have all the kids. Noel's suddenly taking it all too personal when he's basically never kept his own mouth shut since 1994. Now he plays the high and mighty card? Stuff he's saying is 100% more hurtful than what Liam has ever said. If he continues with this attitude he's gonna see fans completely disillusioned.

Can you imagine being Peggy and reading this? That's fine if they both hate each other but they're not hurting each other..theyre hurting their mom. Sad.

I still don't get why Liam's tweet isn't as hurtful as what Noel says in interview, but whatever. The fault is not on only one party. Both of them are toxic. Liam's words, however 'lighthearted' it might look in someone's eyes, are as toxic as what Noel say in paper.

But, lately I've just gotten really tired & annoyed of both of them saying inappropriate bullshit... it's become a competition to see which one can say the biggest insult. However, my issues with Noel are his digs towards his fans and his sanctimonious attitude.. I could careless what they say about each other. Honestly, they both need to stop and just talk about their own life and music..much more interesting and usually funnier.
