What is it about drunken England fans!! I worked in Yates pub in Luton for the England France game. Everyone was having a great time until France scored. Glasses were thrown at the TV screen, England fans started fighting amongst themselves  and the riot police had to pull people out by their hair!!! It was fuckin scary, people were jumping out of windows to escape. England fans? Fighting other england fans? smashing up bars in thier own country!! The only reason I am not ashamed to be english is because of the other fans out their who genuinly enjoy the game without violence. Fair enough, the way we lost was gutting, but that is no excuse for broken glass flying around the pub! The chairs were smashed up and girls were left in tears! It was a disgrace!! BRING ON WIMBLEDON TENNIS!!!!!  |

Yeah it's funny, I think the more physical the game is the less fan violence in the stands.....
Just comparing it to US Football or Hockey that sees very little or no violence in 90k seat stadiums during games... What's it like at rugby games ?

it's pathetic, i know. british yob culture in sport is next to none.
the violence is vicious and mindless.
eg. true story. no teams mentioned.
a fan of a rival team ran in to a mob of the home team on a bridge over some railwaytracks.
naturally, they kicked him unconscious and then propped him up on the edge.
if he fell left then he fell to his death and if he fell right then he landed on the ground.
he just sat there not moving out for the count.
after a few minutes, one of the fuckers just got bored and kicked him over the edge.

Hooligans are knobs. They aint supporters, they dont love Football (or any other sport come to mention it) They just love fighting. What I dont get about these dicks is you get two rival football clubs (wont mention the names, dont want to offend) and they will kick the living shit out of each other.....But when its their national team playing another national team they will happily stand next to each other in a pub or wherever and cheer them on! I dont get it.
But it aint just England fans to be fair. A lot of other european teams are terrible, they dont just fist fight....knives, bats, guns. So dont just blame the english.

What's it like at rugby games ? people who go to rugby are middle class tossers. the reason people fight over football is cuz , it's our generations war. them yobs aint got fuck all else to fight for. there wouldn't have been any fighting, but it was just the fact that everyones pissed and singing, then in the last 30 seconds you go from 1-0 up to 2-1 down. your world feels like it's over. although smashing up a pub is a ridiculous thing to do, i can understand why people get that mad. |
