Just been doing some good old procrastinating and reading Noel's tour diary on that DOYS tour. What strikes me is how said it is to see his attitude towards Liam change. It really is fascinating. The first few entries are fairly extraordinary in that he actually praises Liam. He doesn't slate him for not doing soundchecks -merely says 'r-kid doesn't do soundchecks' compared to when he actually rips into him calling him 'whatshisname' and referring to him having his 'man period'. OK, it's all light hearted, but it sets the tone. We all know they didn't like each other at the tail end of that tour but it really is interesting to see the attitude before Noel's attack. He actually calls him the greatest rock n roll singer of all time and is very warm towards him. I'm just thinking out loud, really, but something must have happened on that tour to have led to such a tumultuoud break up. P.S. this is possibly the most pointless thread I've ever made, but it took 5 minutes out of the time I should have been working. So fuck you oasis-blog.seesaa.net/category/5601273-2.html

It still boggles my mind that no one in the band, crew, staff have ever mentioned anything about that tour in detail. I'm assuming some major non- disclosure was signed but still odd. Just odd.

When I seen them on that tour they all looked depressed more than anything, and wishing they were somewhere else.
I can't imagine if any one major incident happened we wouldn't have heard anything about it in the age of social media.
