If The Masterplan would have been in the album I'm 100% that it would have placed as the last track of the album. Probably that's why it didn't make the cut. How can you put TM in an album if its not the ending song? And the same happens with Champagne Supernova. You can't go anywhere after that. Personally,I prefer CS,its an absolute classic. But in TM defense, the lyrics are way better. I mean 'Slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball' What the fuck. 'I'm not saying right is wrong,it's up to us to make'. What a verse. And in the chorus you got the 'Someday you will find me caught beneath the landslide in a Champagne Supernova in the sky' and then 'And then dance if you wanna dance, please brother take a chance, you know they're gonna go which way they wanna go... All we know its that we don't know how it's gonna be...' Wow. The whole lyrics in TM are absolutely incredible. You can't deny. But the riff in Champagne Supernova...and those 'watery' solos. And the harmonies. Everything is perfect. It's a really tough question to be honest. Off topic: I was luckly enough to see both songs performed by Noel last year, but Champagne Supernova its a Liam song in its own honestly.

CS. I like how it’s sung by a singer.

Champagne Supernova, easily.
Monumental.

The Masterplan being a b-side is forgivable. If it had been on WTSMG, we wouldn't have TM album which is great on its own anyway. With DBTT, it was one of the first Oasis releases I listened to even.
CS being a b-side would be worse than any of the Heathen Chemistry era material that ended up as b-sides.
And it's a good end to WTSMG, but DLBIA as the last song on Stop The Clocks works pretty well too.

The Masterplan hands down. Champagne Supernova is great though.

Champagne Supernova is obviously the better closer for Morning Glory, but The Masterplan is just as good a song.
