saw the highlights of holland V czech republic - great game. sooo many goalscoring chances
best of the tourney so far.
despite dodgy defences, i'd have to rate both teams as contenders to win it
early guess for the semis -
England V Holland
France V Czech Republic

lol Holland's weed factor... i bet Davids and Stam get high before each game.
France and England made it easy in the end. Owen needs to be benched though. He looks like he has no clue when he gets the ball near the box and he made a mess of that little flick in the second half. Start Vassel with Rooney - much better combo!

i agree there was a point in the match last night where vassell made an excellent serging run with the ball i was taklen back with the kind of speed he had.
i think england haver given three excellent performances.
i also agree owen is wank he needs to ask tranmere rovers if theres a spare place on the bench to be perfectly hoinest

id stick with owen. When owens of form he's one of the best strikers in the world. He goes in and out of form all the time and its un predictable when he will go back in. However he hasnt hit form for a while so it must be coming soon.

i agree that Owen shouldnt be dropped. Despite his poor form - he is too good to drop. IMO, he played ok against Croatia. He linked up the play very well - played a major part in both Scholes and Rooneys' goals.
and put simply - he's better than Vassell and Heskey. Vassell is an ideal substitue but he isnt as effective when he starts a match. And i've seen one-legged Giraffes play better football than Heskey...
Owen has got to keep improving though - he has no excuses. same with Beckham
Great performance against Croatia though! nice one lads!
only one word can sum it up - Rooooooooooooney ;D

conspiracy stuff is bullshit - you can possibly play out a 2-2 draw. and if anyone can explain how Tomasson's awesome first goal could possibly be down to match fixing...well - i'm all ears  although the last 2 or 3 minutes were pretty shocking! sweden passing the ball around their own penalty area with no dane is sight.... hopefully germany will go out tmrw - get all the god awful boring teams out then we can have a real tournament  |

 We had a ref who was not fit to referee n looked like the terminator David Beckham? Has never been much good in the whole tournament! Absoulte bismal infact. Deserves all the stick he gets from now on Missed way too many penalties, free kicks n not gave a decent corner all tournament. I was watching it and praying they wouldn't let him take a peno til last at least, or perhaps not at all. Shocking. Sven? He should get the sack...what exactly did he tell them at half time, "its ok lads, keep ball watching and trying to defend" ?!?! Bring back Venables!!! Tomorrow night we'll be drowning our sorrows. I'm still in shock and i'm not even English.  I can imagine how bad the english folk here fee. David Bowie made a questionable call on Sol's goal but Terry did have the keepers arm. Don't know what Beckham was thinking but i think he did lose his footing on the spot. I hate Postiga, cheeky bastard! i hope Holland mauls them in the semis. |
