Why isn't this song available to download? It's called 'shit management'.

Noel's new album is like Twin Peaks' Season 3 and I'm fucking loving it - pissing people off and sounding fresh while looking at the past. whether it's great, good, bad or shit, who actually cares anyway. it's what you make of it. Come on, dude Of course it has to be good, if not, who would care to assist to his concerts and encourage to play his music? Do you ever imagine if Oasis in its early moments sounds bad an Alan McGee said "I'm gonna hire him, although they sound bad, it's new sound"??. Moreover, sounding fresh doesn't mean writing the poorest lyrics or doing a song with only 3 chords or whatever. Admit that Noel's 3rd album looks worse while songs are discovered by the people. I only watch people say "I'll wait until I heard the studio/live/acoustic/whatever version" That's not a good signal, that's the signal of Noel has failed doing an album in that way. Period.

This sounds way more like classic Noel. Interested in how it sounds on the album because Holy Mountain sounded quite different there compared to the single.
I don't think the repetition of the chorus right at the song's start was necessary, otherwise I like it.

I've been listening to it all evening on full volume, jumping around the house, air punching like it's 1996. Cheers. Yep, it's cracking.

I read her name somewhere but I can't remember where. She has worked with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine a couple of years ago.

Yeah, I knew I had seen her name before, in one of the early promo articles. Her name's Charlotte Marionneau.

It’s no wonder Sara is said to be the one trying to distance Noel from Oasis. All his fucking songs are about her now. Change the theme. I can agree with this. While Noel has copped it for his lyrics all his career, they at least used to be universal and something everyone could relate to in some way. And that is something Noel used to talk about. Now for the most part they are about Sara, which doesn't really offer much to the rest of us. I suppose that happens with being a middle aged millionaire. I like the music at least. It's a long time since he wrote something with a positive message for all of us. He seems to think euphoria now means telling everyone how great his girlfriend is. Just change the name from Sara to caro, and lionsden® ’s yer uncle.

Noel fucked Sara to produce She is Love which then fucked Aka...What a Life which produced She Taught Me How To Fly.
Let’s proper hope that that family lineage ends there.

Really love this tune, it's like a lighter version of Rocking Chair. Brilliant. I fink you’re batshit insane with that statement.

Tbf, even Be Here Now has Magic Pie, Stand By Me and Don't Go Away on it I know they're nowhere near the most melancholy music Noel's ever put out, but imo any album needs a mix of uppers and downers so they complement each other. Like I think that the track Be Here Now sounds a lot more euphoric coming in off of Don't Go Away than it would off another positive track like DYKWIM, MBM or IHITIK I see Magic Pie and Stand By Me as positive, uplifting tracks actually. The 2 downers for me are Fade In/Out and DGA. But I think in general most will agree that BHN is the most positive, upbeat record of Noel's entire career. Throw in the upbeat B sides too, and this was his most positive era in general. For me Magic Pie's a bit of a downer especially with the "I've been and now I've gone" line which kinda feels like the first point in the album where the ego dips a bit... But yeah, definitely BHN is easily the most positive record of his career, and possibly one of the most euphoric albums ever imo (at least as far as my limited historical music knowledge goes), which my point was that the fact it's still got downer tracks in between the towering epics of the likes of DYKWIM, MBM and AATW and still comes off as 70+ minutes of uninterrupted euphoria means that imo even the most euphoric of albums need the downer tracks to bring it all together as a whole

Well that's your opinion. I love what he's doing musically. I don't particularly like some of the new persona he seems to have decided to put on, but the music is what really matters to me. If I chose my music based on what I think of the person I'd be missing out on a lot. Noel doing a new order/blondie type song is something I'd always have loved to see, as I love them, we know Noel does, and I think he pulls it off well. It also shows this album doesn't sacrifice the melodies which a lot of people were worried about. And it's real, he's still going to his influences so you can't claim he's faking it, he's just finally drawing from parts of his record collection he avoided until now because he got boxed in. Noel always had far more diverse taste than people gave him credit for, as some interviews down the years have showed. This album will divide people, but i don't see that as a bad thing. Noel is too good to do the same thing forever with diminishing returns. Even if you don't like it, can't you give him credit for trying something different? Is that such a bad thing after 25 years? Do any of us want to keep doing he same thing? It's probably damn exciting for him, and it shows in the performances.

You know what this tune sounds like is when some guy that does shit soundtracks for movies and says to a guy that was a brilliant songwriter of pop music but now thinks he created all forms of music "you should write a song that sounds like Blondie". This is the shite that comes out.

You are allowed to like the song (even though I think its terrible) but that you think it sounds like Rockin' Chair which makes people think you may need your head checked out a little.
