How are your history with oasis forums? when did it all start for you? For me it was the legendary The-Masterplan forum. that must have started around 1999 or 2000? It's hard to remember the forum members. But I can remember 3 puerto rico boys, Mahoney, Daveyboy and Dave Orchard(legend!).If i see the nick names again I surely would remember more. It was there I started to post artwork I made for bootlegs. and I did make some of the artwork that spread around, until another dude came in and made much better artwork . What I liked about the forum was the stars that blinked over your avatar. Later The Masterplan forum dissapeard sadly, and most of us shifted over to the legendary Soapbox Forum. Where i remember a dude called Tapes which was pretty crazy. does anyone have any images from these periodes? I would love to see. I will always remember that Dave Orchard banner that was The Masterplan forum. Tell us your stroy!

I was looking for Knebworth bootleg and found this forum and joined in November 2004. This is the first and the only Oasis forum I ever joined. I've "met" so many great people on this forum and built up a great friendship with a handful of them through the years. I've been in touch with them outside this forum as well.
I know there's people from Masterplan forum and Soapbox on here as well, but I've never been any of those forums.

I've been on the OA515 madferit forum (from 2000 on I think), the soapbox one, and this one for a long time now.

Even used to go on the OA515 chatbox. There was always a guy called 'Ian' on there, and a girl called 'cuddleykitten'. Plus I got to know a cool belgian girl there, that I met and went to oasis concerts with.

Joined 1.5 years ago when I started getting really into Oasis. All of my Oasis related searches seemed to lead me to this forum so I thought I might as well join here

Joined in 2015 having recently got into their music, the active community made me come back regularly (still does). Back in 2014 i was somewhat active on Forever Delayed, the Manics fansite, but that site went kinda silent after the end of their last album cycle (Futurology).
I think I also had an account on the old Depeche Mode official forum but I think the forum closed and moved to another hosting place and I couldn't be bothered after that really.

I remember very little about joining except that Lennon2217 said I had good taste and was cool quite early on. How fucking right he was.

I've been on this one for 3 1/2 years, HFBs forum before that and oasisinet forum before that. I've lurked around the shadows for God knows how long and haven't post very much at any stage. Without the collective wisdom, I never would've learned the following five facts:
1. Heathen Chemistry is the most hated album. 2. Dave Sardy is loathed as a producer. 3. Chris Sharrock is (somehow) the favored drummer. 4. Even amongst fans of the same band, opinions will vary wildly. 5. The latest Gallagher release is the greatest release.
Thinking about this, I failed to mention the rkid blog, which was the greatest blog dedicated to the band. (I know that fearless creator haunts the halls of this forum and he deserves the acclaim.) I used to check it daily and found countless gems. It definitely nurtured my love for the band.

Found out about this place through Jim's rkid003 blog and the /r/Oasis, lurked for about half a year, then registered when Mighty I released.

There was one before the soapbox. I can't remember it's name. Then I was on the soapbox for a long time. Good times. Then I remember it getting a bit out of hand, cant remember why really, around 2003 and moved to the oasis ultimate, it might have been, for a little bit... That got shut down and I migrated here in 2004.
But the soapbox use to be amazing back in the day. Some many fucking characters...

I first joined Inet in late 2000, at the time FTM was released. I was 15 then, and just discovering the non-Masterplan bsides. I had no idea then I'd still be on Oasis forums 17 years later.
So while all my fellow teenagers were out having the time of their lives, I was home reading forum posts on tour setlists, new album rumours, trying to decipher Noel and Liam's Mancunian, and listening to songs like Round Are Way, Flashbax, Cloudburst, I Got the Fever, and the electric Talk Tonight for the first time.
I don't regret a single thing. I wouldn't trade my life long experience as an Oasis fan! It will be 22 years this month that I've been an Oasis fan. Wow. Seeing that in print is kind of stunning.
I started on Inet then moved to Oa515 once I got into downloading live gigs, then The Masterplan in 04-08, at some point it evolved into Stop the Clocks, then I found my way here once that one collapsed.

I joined this forum about three years ago after I stumbled upon Jim's rkid003 blog while looking for a lossless rip of Bonehead's Bank Holiday, as it was a vinyl exclusive at the time. The specific thread that made me L4E was the one where forum members all chipped in to buy that old 1992 demo tape with Lock All the Doors and Setting Sun. I was floored by how Oasis fans could come together, take hard-earned money out of their pockets and get rarities that may have never been heard by anyone out there for all fans to hear. That kind of selfless spirit made me want to be a part of this community.

I initially joined this forum to gain access to the Polish radio station leak of Lyla in April 2005*, as well to getting some bootlegs and the MTV Unplugged video. I had zero intention on staying around hence the uncreative handle of live4evr that I was infamously known for. It was a rocky beginning, such is the life of a then 17 year old. But thirteen (13!) years later, I'm one of the old heads still floating around. Fucking love this place. Been through the DBTT hype (which was mental at the time), the leaks of RM-AGN-STC in May 2008, the DOYS hype (that trailer teaser is still immense, mind), and of course the split up of the band (boo) and following each Gallagher brother's independent projects. And don't forget the trolls - BeadyEyeUnofficial, LordDontKnowMeKnow, RoboHump, Herbawhore, OasisBlues....the tennis players, Frank Fucking Lomax, Oasis Mafia And caro. Always remember caro. And Black Rebel Motorcycle Pixie.. Political discussions and changing of governments - George W. Bush --> Barack Obama --> Donald Trump. The chaos of the British governing system. The on going bantz about how bad The Arsenal are. Sigh. And why Holy Mountain is the best thing since Round Are Way sliced the radio stations. Not really my most eloquent post, can't be arsed, but this forum has seen A LOT over the 13 years I've been a member, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Onwards. *Hello mimmihopps!

I never really understood the Oasis Mafia nor the Tennis Players ( eva and mimmihopps can you help us out here?) They appear, like franklomax, every half decade or so (lol). The biggest troll ever on this forum must have been lorddontnoelmenow....I sussed him out a long time before anyone else did. Just check out this epic monstrosity (!): live4ever.proboards.com/thread/47910/heard-dig-out-soulIT was fucking ridiculous! Good times haha Soldier on like Cast No Shadow hahahahahahahahhahahaha..... So i did get the chance to listen to the album, and let me tell you its awesome!! its not mind bending amazing, but its much much much much much better than DBTT(and i thought DBTT is their best since WTSMG) The best way i can discribe it is Be Here Now done right, but without the flag wavers.(they get close to flag waving on some songs) Liams singing is very good. really clear on Soldier on, Cast No Shadow like vocals. The one thing i kept thinking is there are backing vocals that are not liam or noel, i wonder if gem or andy did any back vocals. anyway, great album!

Oh and Tam. Always remember Tam. And the 'fight' over me 'stealing' her avatar.
Well, I've won that battle! (In all seriousness, hope she's well wherever she may be).
