This won't be the worst track on the album. It just can't. Because then the record would be better than Definitely Maybe and we know that's not going to happen. As I posted before, Holy Mountain could be to Who Built The Moon? what Dream On was to NGHFB or ITHOTM was to Chasing Yesterday. Those are definitely not the worst tracks on their respective albums, and Holy Mountain is better than both. Lol Seriously i don't see how holy moutain can be at least as good as any DM song, i need some explanations on this one

It's cool he's played it live though. I know Noel is a bit insecure about playing songs to audiences who haven't heard them.

I'd've preferred a lyrics video, to be honest, so I could tell what on earth Noel's singing. He gets quite wordy at times and his voice isn't pushed right up front and centre, like Liam's is on his new tunes. Lyrics of this song are not something to write home about tbf. It's just 'I love you, let's dance' type of lyrics.

Come on, don't be so harsh! But I think this song is def will be the weakest on this album. The snippets from trailer were better. Noel just can't choose singles. Like I said, I think this will be comparable to "Roll With it" with regards to it's context on the album; it's a fun, lightweight, pop tune that lends itself to the radio and being caught in your head - but I don't think it will end up being a true highlight. Same as Heat of the Moment, now that I think about it. Sorry, but that song has nothing to do with Roll with it (=tune. Its not "fun, lightweight, pop tune". Its fat flat n boring to death, shit ina diabolical level. I feel it like a punishment, i think its a shame for Noel not only to release it but also to play it live. note1: You can call me a Noel hater (probably i am cause i dont like his voice at all and i find him boring, murdering with NGHFB albums great songs), but i have a lot of respect to his music & songwriting as a diehard oasis fan. You can hardly see me in Noel's forum makin negative comments about him. So you can consider my opinion for his new single as a honest opinion with no hate at all. note2: From people like you, with great taste in music, i expect more. its like (me) praising BE's "Standing on The Edge of the Noise" as fun, lightweight, rock tune, when i know thats totally crap. Anyway, if you like it, fair enough. I hope the album to sound totally different

Same as Heat of the Moment, now that I think about it. Roll With It was a huge single. It's not ONLY fun and catchy, in my opinion. It a really good tune and one of the highlights of WTSMG. I hope Holy Mountain is more like Aka..What a Life on the first Noel album. Catchy, radio friendly... and, at least for me, forgettable. RWI is kinda boring. worst on the album for me...

Same. Personally, I enjoy it more than Up in the Sky and Married With Children too, but I know they'll be more contentious.

If you don't like a song and still respect artist - that's fine. I can't make anyone like the song I like, that's alright - more great songs for me.

Hahaha, I love that video. It's so kitschy. I wish I had a time machine and I could travel to summer 2011 and post the video on the forum. There would be riots and perhaps more than a bit of naked dancing. It's ok, we can still dance naked in 2017 X.

Shit, I always forget about Married with Children. So that makes at least three tracks from Definitely Maybe that are worse than Holy Mountain. I'm not so sure about Up in the Sky, I really like that tune.

Thing is, even if Holy Mountain is the worst tune on WBTM, I'd be very surprised if anything on it is as good as Live Forever....

Holy Mountain? Oh Well...sorry Noel, this time more like HOLY CRAP!!! Worst Gallagher single to date and almost close to the worst gallagher song ever! That's not dance, that's not experimental. I dont know what it is. Definitely an embarrassing song. If you like it, fair enough and i wish you to hear it for the rest of your life (t he curse of the Holy Mountain!)...cheers! you dont like it? what a surprise... you like it? what a surprise...

We're obviously not going to get another Live Forever, or Slide Away. Anyway, the discussion is a bit pointless since Noel wouldn't choose the worst track as the first single, even if some people are hoping for that and he has dodgy track record with picking singles.

you dont like it? what a surprise... you like it? what a surprise... The song is embarrassing. Second worst gallagher song ever written. Marginally better than bring the light. A lot of Stockholm syndrome sufferers around here

Still love the tune, loved it live, the video made me cringe. Noel's never looked this uncool before.

I like 'Beatles and Stones' by BE. Does it mean that I have Stockholm syndrome too? No at least that rocks. You have the all clear "i'm gonna stand the test of time like beatles and stones" That has got to be the dumbest lyric ever. ever EVER EVER the tune is alright, though.
