I have listened to it multiple times and in my opinion it's total shit. I loved the 3 preview clips but this song is just awful. The melody is pretty bad and that is what I love about songs, the melody. I think Noel is totally whipped and he is writing dance tunes to please his wife. She did say that this and song #5 were her favorites and Noel said he knew the songs were good because his wife said they were amazing. She never did like Noel's rock songs. I don't mind a dance album from Noel if it has guitars and has good melodies. This song just doesn't do it at all. I don't think I'll ever listen to it again. Liam surely did release the better 1st single. This is like William Hung doing She Bangs by Ricky Martin. The people that like this must be Noel is god people or just lying to themselves. I don't think I'm a "Noel is god" person but I'd rather be that than a "God forbid Noel pleases his wife" person. So he needs to write music and especially a whole album to please his wife because she likes dance songs? I liked the preview clips of those other 3 songs but this song is just bad. |

If the Scissor Sisters released a tune like this people on here would laugh their bollocks off. I can imagine the 5 year olds going mental for it in Majorca in the hotel's little kids club, a bit like I did with Mambo Number 5 and the Macarena back in the day. Releasing it in October doesn't really take advantage of that demographic though. |

Anyone else here loving the fact that there are some members who are absolutely hating this record.  I couldn't be any happier! Now those haters know how I felt all the way through the noughties with that shite Oasis Mk2 crap. Finally I have a decent song from Noel again, that sounds more like the upbeat 97 Owen Morris produced era, and I'm over the moon with this new single. |

You do realise that blaming Noel's wife when you don't like the new song is more than a tad misogynist, right? Besides, Noel has clearly explained how the track came about (hint: his wife wasn't in the studio dictating what he should record).

Noel hammering Liam in sales already, amazing really as Liam gone all out promoting, and still can’t get near Noel’s sales. Prob Liam has is he’ll never get the recognition Noel does as Liam didn’t write the bulk of his album and I think people see that. Wrote 8 out of 15 alone. |

Neil Young made Trans specifically for his son. I don't see why it should be a reason to target it for criticism. |

Quite apart from whether the songs are good, simply having an engaged producer (a la George Martin) is not the same as getting hired professionals to help you write your songs. |
