It's horrific imo. Doesn't even sound like him.

I love Liam's album but this is the song that's got stuck in my head. It won't get out.

It's like my dream song, i've always imagined how insane it would sound if liam gallagher and kevin parker worked together, this is the closest sounding thing i reckon. That was always my hope too. This is basically the "Let it Happen" track with Liam singing - biblical stuff!

Probably not. Actually it would have grabbed as many mainstream fans as possible. That sound is modern and what most people like these days. Whether people realize it or not, music is not confined to these boards. I hate pop. I hate edm. I hate Bieber and I hate Skrillex. I hate lots of similar stuff to that. But I also know I can't live my life being stuck in 1996, as much as I'd love to. Cause if I did, I'd never discover new music. the 90s music will never come back and if it did, it would be a cheap imitation, which people on this board would just deem "a cheap Lennon knockoff". I hate most modern music, but also realize I need to branch out at least a little bit in order to discover some new stuff. That's why I like Tame Impala. That's why I like What A Life, Ballad of the Mighty I, While the Song Remains the Same and this song. If Liam and Noel dip their toe into new mainstream stuff without going too much over the line, I love it and its refreshing too. People need to expand their musical tastes at least a bit, and I can't believe I'm the one saying this, as I'm often told I only like one type of music. If one doesn't expand, they'll be stuck in the 90s, and when new stuff from old guys do come out, they'll deem it not up to snuff. Liam and Noel will never again put out another Live Forever, DLBIA etc..., time to move on and embrace some change (as long st they don't go fully to the dark side!) Yesterday I thought this song was awful, but I listened to it a few times now via iTunes and I like it. I still think this song would have been received really negative especially on this forum as some awful song Beady Eye wouldn't even make. I think you're probably right but the beauty of this album is its versatility. Liam can get away with throwing this on when he's already covered the rockers and the ballads. This is one should've made the cut for me. Bit gutted we won't have it on vinyl

If this was the first single his album probably would have been scrapped. Probably not. Actually it would have grabbed as many mainstream fans as possible. Nothing wrong with pop music done right mate - Tame Impala's last album is pure pop!

I love it. I hope Liam will sing tunes like this in the future. It takes an autotune program to sing like that, but yes it does sound good. its in my opinion the song that should have been the first single. actually sounds sort of modern, due to its tame impala impersonation, i guess. big mistake making it only available on the deluxe edition of the record.

Fantastic tune - Liam doing something different and modern.
Have already swapped it in to my As You Were playlist and binned I Get By, Universal Gleam (can't get past that Real Love steal) and You Better Run.

When I got to that track on the album I was so surprised (pleasantly) how different it is. Am I the only one who got a bit of a Pet Shop Boys vibe?

Its sounds like something else, but haven't been able to put my finger on it yet (possibly Reverend and the Makers). I like it.

And Liam wrote this song. By himself. Wow. Missed opportunity really. He should based this album around this song. But there is always second chance. He told songwriters to give him songs that sounds like Lennon or Pistols. I hope that next time he will told them to write something like this. Or Scorpio Rising or Shoot Down.

Unbelievable how this isn't on the album. Given that many folk have the deluxe version, it doesn't matter but it really deserves a special place in the main body of work. Has a shoegazey melody to it, and the distortion and rhythm has echoes of industrial rock. Cool propulsive rhythm - another thing we all want to hear from anything Gallagher related in 2017.

Liam's voice is so good on electronic rock/pop - it's criminal that he'd rather be doing conventional Britpop numbers.
