Honestly brutal, flat vocals tonight! He looks old. Shame for such a big TV audience.

He's on form in that interview. Does sound like he's coughing a fair bit though.

That's genuinely an 11-minute really funny, and actually for Noel quite reflective in a light way, interview. The last bit is the bit that everybody will see and some divs will lose their heads over, though.

How is Black Star Dancing his most successful solo song? Am I missing something here?

Have just heard a few of the tracks (though nothing before Black Star Dancing) and he sounds fine - not in his best ever voice, but far from bad. Which tracks were people thinking sounded ropey?

He sounded the flattest hes ever sounded on the first few songs.
Picked up by the end though and that DLBIA was just incredible. Love it every time.

I bet it's What A Life. I dont know if there has ever been a good live version of that song It's far better these days than in '11/12. Took him quite a while to learn how to sing it. Best versions (I think) were in '15 when it came 2nd in the encore. It had a real "this song is just as big a moment as any Oasis track" feel about it in those gigs.

Would have been more interesting if they asked him why he blocked the Oasis songs being used in As It Was.
Probably not allowed to ask him that tho!

His shows look impressive and from what I saw last night it was no different. Just the boring setlist that ruins it. With the exception of SCYHO which is fresh to see back
I really hope Liam mixes things up with his sets and doesnt fall into the same trap

Anyone else currently watching on Sky Arts? Sounding Rough! I remember another gig that was aired (I genuinely can't remember if it was Liam or Noel) and they sounded rough as hell through the TV. But then people who were there said it was absolutely fine. Not saying this is the case here – I haven't watched it – but it's sometimes to do with how they mix the sound for the TV that throws it out of sync a bit, and then it compounds the issue if they're having a bad night or whatever. Noel at BBC Biggest Weekend last year was brilliant and tuneful there but awful on the broadcast

That'll be one that he pops into an unrelated question himself. "Don't go round saying shit about me and then ask to use my songs" or something along those lines. Which is fair. But he'd have done it anyway, so Liam might aswell keep annoying him.

Having listened to all of it now - the chorus to Beautiful World wasn’t his best, and a couple of songs were a bit tentative (there was nothing *wrong* with that version of EOTR, but I’ve heard plenty of better ones), but it was a good gig, and nowhere near the wreck some here were suggesting yesterday. Calm down, y’all 😊

Not a packed crowd...I thought his tour was selling well...but outside festival dates it looks like his big outdoor gigs are far away from sold out

Not a packed crowd...I thought his tour was selling well...but outside festival dates it looks like his big outdoor gigs are far away from sold out That was early on I imagine as it was a lot busier than that. His photographer put a photo on Instagram earlier of the band at the end of the set and the crowd was rammed. Great gig, crowd bang up for it. We were right near the front and everyone was going mad for the new stuff. Noel was on form and looked like he was loving it.
