Slid into Jess' DMs and told her how fucking great they sounded. Honest to God, his live shows never have been (or ever will be) exhilerating but they sound unreal. Just like the record When you gonna invite her to Netflix and chill? X That made me laugh. Thanks.

Yet to hear SCYHO but look forward to it. Overall lazy as fuck setlist if you ask me. Can't believe he's not binned AYNIL yet! If Noel has the same set list (bar a couple of changes) in Edinburgh next week as he did at Edinburgh Castle last year then I'm done! He's on a mission to lose his fan base if you ask me. Squeezing the life out of every album and single release and rehashing the same old routine live is really getting to me and I grudge paying for it. The passion is going man wtf. The shows next week are sit down acoustic shows, aren't they? Yeah I dunno where that came from. The gigs are "intimate" due to venue size is all. I'd love it if it was acoustic. I have always been a fan of Noel doing an acoustic bit on his own. He needs to bring that back like 4/5 songs on acoustic just him. It will be pretty cool to be able to see him premiere a new song live though. Been a while.

The shows next week are sit down acoustic shows, aren't they? And there's literally an album announcement coming in less than 10 hours. He had a 25 minute set and has played two from his last album, one of the biggest hits and a song not played live since 2005. He wasn't gonna exactly play a song nobody has even heard during a 25 minute set at some random Italian festival. I get what you mean but a 5 song set (1 of which is a song he hasn't played) is really hard to judge off. And we now know that the new songs are gonna be played this summer too. Are the shows next week acoustic?

See my post above. That's the gigs I am referring to batfink30 I'd like them to be but he will no doubt premiere BSD live in Edinburgh which is classed as an intimate show. I don't know where the acoustic gigs idea came from?

The arrangement for Stop Crying Your Heart out is lovely. I've been trying to figure it out... would you be okay to help me mate?
Knew the basics straight away but just getting a tad stuck in certain points. Capo 2nd fret Verse: Am (shape), G6/7 (not sure which but basically 320010), D7, Fmaj7 Chorus: C, G, then a weird shape down the neck which I think is X05560, or similar), Fmaj7, C, D, Fmaj7 then it's just the bridge bit that I'm a bit stuck with. Does it repeat the verse and then the chorus? Then the end, he seems to go between a G and that weird shape down the neck? Any help would be appreciated! Like I said, figured out the basics from the soundcheck vid the other day (ie. capo placement and basic chords), but just wondering on these little parts. Really loving figuring it out but you're much better at this than I am!

The verse definitely has a D7 in there (xx0212), as I've watched the vid and Noel leaves his first finger planted on that B string all through the verse. The Dm in the chorus you've got there is just a standard D I'm pretty sure too. It's after that in the last part of the song that he mixes the arrangement up a bit. It'll be pretty simple I'm sure, just hard to do it entirely by ear (for a simpleton like me )

Playing tonight in Murcia at the Warm Up festival isn't he?
Not sure how long his set will be but if it's a bit longer we could maybe get a taste of BSD live.

And SCYHO took the Wonderwall spot. Hopefully he will rotate songs as the others from the first EP are released. Or the band finally gets Falling Down.

Only had a 1hr 15 set so imagine that's why there's a shorter setlist. Hoping 19-20 songs for Dublin in June (at least) with Heat of the Moment back in there - it's a great song live. Same goes for Dream On. Doubt he'd drop Wonderwall totally for the big live shows too.
