Yeah, and they would probably support NG`sHFB (Russ Pritchard is a member of both bands so that would make sense) Pretty sure he tweeted that he won't be part of the reunion Ah, so he has!

Interesting quotes - I'm pretty sure it was Noel who announced it was a free gig towards the end of the gig as the delays in fixing the generator meant there was no public transport running after the gig finished? I'm sure to claim back you had to send your ticket and details of how you'd been affected - I wasn't there but remember the announcement on the website and Noel making a joke about how HE got carried away and it had cost him a fortune

Not to be negative, as this is amazing, but didn’t he go on a whole rant about how it’s undignified to play shows like this? I also think it’s a little contradictory to have the dmas as support since he said he thought they were shit (something along those lines). However, I’m sure it’ll be a great show regardless, I wonder if he’ll include more oasis songs or if it’ll just be the same set he’s been playing.

He probably hasn't listened to them like. “DMA’s? So there’s a capital ‘D’ for Derek, ‘M’ for Michael and ‘A’ for Australia,” he said. “Then an apostrophe ‘s’, okay. No, I can’t say I’ve had the displeasure of listening to it yet. “REALLY? Oh, in what way? Do you think they sound like Oasis?” When told that the songs aren’t necessarily as good as Oasis songs, Gallagher interjected, “I mean surely that would go without saying… Well, when I wake up tomorrow, extremely hungover, I shall maybe get on my computer and see if I can find anything by these fuckin’ DMA’s.” At the mere mention of bucket hats, Gallagher observed, “Oh, all right, okay, well they’re kinda LIAM fans really then.” DMA’s are on the Governors Ball line-up this year… “Where? In New York? I’m doin’ that as well,” Gallagher said, laughing. “I’ll have to watch them from side of stage and boo them.”

The list of people Noel has ripped on since 1994 is literally endless. He eventually makes up with some of them. My personal favorite was Noel saying this back in 2002 when talking about Sum 41. "I'm just glad I lived long enough to hear the shittiest band ever."

Heaton Park is ambitious. I doubt he'll sell that out quickly. Rubbish support too which for me speaks volumes. Squeezing the life out of that last album of you ask me. I'd much rather he was back in the studio.
Same set list, and merchandise I bet too Noel eh?! I'll pass. I'm sure the "kids" will love it though.

Here's the video 😎

Here's the video 😎 If I remember correctly the mic drops and power generator issues followed them around for a couple gigs on that spring/summer tour. It is actually embarrassing that happened multiple times. Not sure what the issue was. I've only been hit with this once in all my concert goings, Pearl Jam, Newark, 2006. It caused a 5 minute delay at the top of the show, it was fixed and another 2 and a half hours of music went down.

Have they hinted at a London gig yet? No chance I'm travelling 200+ miles for a likely identical setlist to Brighton.
I imagine they'll wait for these two gigs to sell out then announce a London date.

It's the day before parklife festival. He'll do the main stage that they use for that (like Courteeners did a few years ago) so I doubt it's the full sized Heaton Park capacity. I think its about a third less if memory serves me right.
Not the same size as the Oasis, Stone Roses etc gigs.

Cardiff, Norwich and Exeter dates added. I think we'll just get a festival tour rather than any specific tours.

Pretty cool that we will have had NGHFB tours 4 years in a row. I expected Noel to stick with the 00s Oasis model of album/tour/year off

Why couldn't Noel have played Earlham Park last May when I lived like 5 minutes (walking distance) from there?

I wouldn’t expect album #4 until fall of 2020. Maybe spring if we're lucky, but yeh, no chance of an album next year.
