I'm glad you like YsΓ©e's voice, she's great. If you can avoid needlessly identifying people by gender or race, you should, though. That seems to be the case π. Well she was the only black female singer on stage and I didn't know her name, so what else should I have used to describe her? There are a bunch of other NGHFB members of which I don't know the name, too and if I tried to express which one I mean, I'd probably refer to their look, too - or the instrument they play (as she doesn't play the scissors or anything else, I referred to her look). Don't be so sensitive and don't search for "improper" gender/race references where there are none.

Given the turn this thread has taken I thought I'd post this. White people getting really angry about being called white people.π―

So...
Seen Noel yesterday at The Downs. It was absolutely unbelievable. I've never seen Noel before. First of all, the energy he exudes on stage is much warmer and happier than I had expected. It made me really happy to see him really interact with the audience and I think he may have looked at me once or twice. Second of all, if Who Built The Moon was already a masterpiece to begin with the songs just explode live. His voice was really really good as was his guitar playing. The band are also amazing. Gem really shone on The Right Stuff. I really enjoyed the setlist. I was really surprised we got Whatever after seeing Liam do it the day before at the Pilton Party. Absolutely touched the range of emotions, don't really know what to say but it was amazing. Also Weller came on at the end and did Town Called Malice and All You Need Is Love.

Bingley - another belter.
Noel was in good spirits throughout and seemed to be enjoying himself (I think the insult 'yorkshire c's' was used at least 50 times).
5 and out for me on this tour. Wasn't overly impressed with the two arena gigs but loved the festivals and ritz gigs.

Happy with the three times I've seen him on this tour. Manchester was great for me, but I was standing, around people who were all well up for it and I was mad keen to see him on this tour. Leeds - acoustically that's such a better venue but it was a Monday night and I was on my own. Enjoyed it as a last-minute, off-the-cuff thing but probably my least favourite, as I don't think the crowd was into it until LBL was played, whereas in Manchester I think they were (or at least they were where I was). Tramlines the best. Only shame is it was a shorter set (15/16 songs) but Noel was well up for it.

Yeah think we discussed at the time but I think it must just have been where I was located in Manchester. I was standing but near the mixing desk and it wasn't too great. I think for both that and Leeds Noel didn't seem too up for it. Pretty much the same on-stage craic at the same points in the set etc. He just seemed to progressively get better though. Neighbourhood was great, the ritz was another level and Bingley he was in good spirits right from the start. 1. Ritz 2. Neighbourhood 3. Bingley 4. Manchester Arena 5. Leeds Arena ..for me!

It goes without saying that one should expect no new song to be performed at the 2019 gigs.

He will play at Mad Cool Festival in Spain on 11 July next year. I`m curious if he`s going to announce more festival dates in Europe for 2019, I have no hopes for a gig in my country though, my big dream is to go to his gig in a small venue, unfortunately I didn`t manage to get a ticket for his Lucerna Great Hall (Prague) gig, as it was sold out pretty fast. I`m jealous as hell of everyone who was there, small venues are the best, no doubt about it!

So, definitely looks like there'll be another leg of this. Wonder if the demand is there for him to go to Aus/NZ as well? Personally, I can't see it, because he'd usually have combined it with the South American leg of the tour.
Probably will just be festival dates.

There is still a huge gap between the dates in Newcastle and Mad Cool. Of course he will do a couple more festivals. I'm hoping for Rock im Park. Or a special open air gig in Berlin. Fingers crossed.

Last time they kicked off again in March and went through the summer, but the Zutons are doing gigs in April now, so maybe this is just a run around the festival circuit.
