He dedicated All You Need Is Love to the "greatest ever tambourine player that's ever come from this town" apparently. So let's all make believe that they're still friends and they like each other

Nme: Watch Noel’s heartfelt dedication to his brother..........................................Oasis reunion imminent
What Noel meant: Liam needs love because he’s so angry for some bizarre reason that I have nothing to do with I’m innocent he’s the bad one
What I expect from Liam’s twitter soon: “Well well well I see the WITCH has finally let potato open his mouth best tambourine player from the city more like best FRONTMAN ever in the world you know it I know it all the beautiful people know it as you were LG x”

Noël's jeans are way too skinny....not to mention, it's shorts season; I haven't worn longs pants since about May....
Thanks.

Things to really like about that: 1. The whole record! 2. 15 solo tunes before an Oasis one! 3. Alone On The Rope! 4. Pretty much everything from Heat Of The Moment onward was a "hit" of one sort or another - it would have been amazing to be in the audience for that. Slight criticisms because this is the internet - only one Chasing Yesterday tune? This would have been a good gig for Lock All The Doors I think. Also, if he was going to bring back an Oasis song, given that Falling Down has been in the soundcheck and hasn't been in a gig in 8 years, that would have been nice. But still, this is a dream Noel set. Here's hoping for a full recording. Falling Down. Now that would be great...!

It's the morning after the night before. Last night I was saying to my mate that it's the best time I've seen him this tour and possibly the best I've seen him - it's definitely the former, maybe not the latter but definitely up there.
Noel was due on stage at 8 but didn't come on until about 8:10. Between about 7 and 8:10 his guitar tech's must have tuned each guitar about 20 times. Guitar experts - is this really fucking necessary? The tech must have tuned each guitar about three times between 8-8:10. Is this just a tactic to prevent crowd unrest during a delay for another reason?
Anyway, the set. It's the fourth time I've seen Noel this tour (Manchester Arena, Leeds Arena and Neighbourhood weekender festival in Warrington previously) and I've been a bit critical of his setlist, mainly the way he usually starts with the first four or five songs of WBTM.
Last night, he played the album in full from start to finish and I can honestly say that apart from a bit of a lull during careful what you wish for, the whole crowd was up for it and it didn't drag. It's easily the best crowd I've seen in this tour - I was about six or seven people back and everyone was going for it. Can't wait to see the video for Holy Mountain as it seemed like the whole place was bouncing. You can tell when the band know it's a good one and Russ did a little wink at Noel as if to say 'fucking hell, this is a top crowd'.
Man Who Built The Moon is my favourite song on the album so it was great to hear this and loved the live version.
I wasn't a fan of alone on the rope but it's the first time I've heard it.
The whole venue singing dead in the water was mega.
The whole 'Oasis set' was brilliant, loved hearing Whatever again.
Minimal mentions of his football club as well which was a bonus. When he did near the end, a lot of boo's which was beautiful to hear also.
Also - special shout out to Mr. Gem Archer. What a guy. That man playing guitar is a joy to behold.
Bring on the absolute radio videos - can't wait to watch it back.

I doubt we'll get that set again but it would be great if he does do it. I don't think he's got time for 23 songs at Tramlines anyway, it ends really early. Please stop with Dream On. Please. Yeh, he's on at half 8 and the curfew is 10, so he's got, realistically, an hour and 25 mins worth of playing time.

Maybe they realised they got a bit carried away with the Oasis reunion talk.

I'm guessing he'll end up reverting to type for the Tramlines set, which is a shame. Hopefully he keeps Whatever in instead of TRS, and if he can squeeze TMWBTM in, that would be brilliant. Come on Noel, you little gremlin, sort it.

They've just said on absolute radio that they're playing 'extended highlights' of the gig next Thursday.
Hopefully they'll release the full gig on video.

It wouldn't work for the casual fans that will be there wanting the hits. But there's not an excuse not to keep TMWBTM/Whatever in, really.

Yeah the full album would go down like a lead balloon at a festival. Just glad he mixed it up quite a bit mid-tour which isn't really a Noel-esque thing to do.

I wonder if he's thinking of releasing a gig on DVD if he's doing the whole album, or if he just felt like doing it as a one off. Good to see him changing things up.

Is Ysee still in the band? Because what’s the point if there’s no TRS anymore, and Fort Knox only lasts like 2 mins

I adore his version of Whatever. Probably the time when the 'countryfied' vibe with the Capo on 2nd fret really works.
His tweaks to the melody make it.
