What time has Noel been coming on and more importantly leaving the stage on these UK dates?
(Need to decide whether I can risk a train or need to drive).
Thanks.

You could have told him "it's the present for Noel" I took a bottle of water with me, but had a cap hidden in my pocket. A security woman asked me "do you have a cap for the bottle?" when she checked my bag at entrance and I said to her "No, no Miss" of course. I always do that as I don't bother to pay for a drink. With Liam, security took out my water bottle (one of those expensive plastic ones from Blokker, you know them) and asked a colleague what to do with it. I just said "Come on, do you really think I'm bringing a bottle that cost me a tenner to then just throw it at someone in the crowd at a gig on the other side of the country?" Class You might still have thrown your water bottle in the crowd though

Anyone know what time Noel does a few signings outside the venue? Is it usually about 4pm?

Anyone know what time Noel does a few signings outside the venue? Is it usually about 4pm? Usually band and he arrives separately in the venue at 3 - 3:30 and soundcheck at 4 PM, except Amsterdam 2 weeks ago. He came outside to sign the stuff 10 minutes before the venue's door went open! My friends and I caught him and after our records got signed by Noel, I rushed to the front door to enter the venue. It was my second time to meet Noel.

He was exactly same as last time when I met him in 2011, He just doesn't like his fans who buy multiple copies of his records and go to his gigs. Liam was completely opposite.

Hey mimmihopps, just ramdomly seen two of your posts on a row, this one: The ONE time I decide to arrive after doors open instead of being there an hour in advance and I miss Noel! Jesus Christ. What you did miss was grumpy Noel. He was exactly same as last time when I met him in 2011, He just doesn't like his fans who buy multiple copies of his records and go to his gigs. Liam was completely opposite. And the one in in the oasis' section where you said the worst thing about oasis were "some fans" (sorry I don't know how to quote form another topic...) and my brain involunarily worked a simple math - you might be answering One with the other. I really dislike his attitude during these signing things, as much as I see them as weird and unconfortable situations (I don't think I'd go wait outside a venue just to get an autograph or a chat with any artist- but that's just me, and fair enough on those who do),and Noel simply shouldn't do it if he can't at least avoid being unpleasant. Still, this grumpiness always seemed to me like a bit forced. I get the feeling of a teacher that doesn't want to seem too nice in the first lesson, in order to prevent abuse from the class 🤔🤔. It doesn't make it any nicer, though.

Is he truly grumpy or does he just have resting bitch face? I can sympathize with the latter lol. I only met him once in the 90s, I got a hug and he was nice but not talkative. Liam is definitely more personable/approachable but like Noel says Liam's a dog and he's a cat.

Like tommybravo said, "Liam enjoys the interaction with fans whereas Noel doesn’t". I've met many bands/musicians in person - Noel Gallagher (twice), Liam Gallagher, Bonehead, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, Chris Sherlock, Weller (3 times), Johnny Marr, Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian (several times), Manics etc. Most of them were very interactive with fans, especially Liam, Bonehead, Weller, Marr and Ashcroft. They were all like "Nice to meet you. How are you doing? Are you coming to my show tonight?". They all took time to chat with their fans. Unfortunately Noel wasn't in that case twice. He came outside, signed stuff, said nothing and went back inside. That's all. Actually what I wanted to say is, that despite all those stories talked by press, Liam and Noel were completely opposite than what I expected. I would want to meet Liam again as it was a pleasure to meet him, but don't think I'll bother to try to meet Noel again. Anyway, I still love and support Noel and his music and I'll go to his gig when he plays over here again for sure, but Oasis are/will always be one of my 3 life time bands. No Liam or Noel can beat that.

No Liam or Noel can beat that. Oh, I know it had nothing to do, but I couldn't help but notice. You see, this is based on my own experience- when you work attending people you start noticing that not everyone will be nice, so you do initially have to be careful and build a relationship from there.you don't know the person the moment they enter the room. Probably it does boil down to what tommyb said, but my point was what I mentioned above *could* also play a role. Regarding the rest, yeah, there is no point not supporting artists you like because of stuff like this... I love Feist and Yann Tiersen and I'm seeing them both this year, which makes me very happy! I actually couldn't believe that some people were angry at YT for not coming outside to sign stuff earlier this year!

First few mins of that gig is signing autographs etc. He does interact with his fans - but let's face it, he's always a bit of an aloof character.

5th time seeing Noel last night first on this tour and probably my favourite in terms of the band ect; My mate has never been to an Oasis related gig before, hasn't heard any of Noel's first 2 albums either (that's about to change though) as he's always prefered Liam's voice as a casual fan, even though I pretty much knew what the setlist was I didn't tell him and I was half expecting him to ask when he'll do an Oasis song at some point but didn't get any of that apart from he wish he'd done Masterplan instead of All you need is Love. He knew the songs off the latest album and joined in with it and really enjoyed the ones he didn't know. Kind of jealous in a way as it's ages since i've been to a gig and not known anything about them and liked it The video posted above didn't do the crowd justice really as the standing section was definitely having a great time, I've got a broken heel and even though I told myself to keep a bit restrained it didn't happen In agony today but worth it

Most celebs I see will only do a few autographs and pics and call it good. Hell I've even heard of some celebs brush their fans off and just walk by the entire line.

I see that there seem to be plenty of tickets left for his Leeds gig on May 8, bit of a surprise.

Excited to see him tomorrow, hoping for It’s Better People, EOTR, TMWBTM, a rousing acoustic rendition of slide away, and a special bit of pastry to finish it off

I see that there seem to be plenty of tickets left for his Leeds gig on May 8, bit of a surprise. The Leeds gig is on the 7th? It was sold out when I last checked? I think it's the arenas themselves that reserve tickets and then put them on late doors. Most of the arenas so far have seemed full and all of the reviews, bar maybe 5%, have been extremely positive.

Fair enough, must have been getting it mixed up with Manchester! I really like Leeds arena. I've been to Noel there in 2016 and saw the Phonics there back in March. Both time standing - you feel really close to the stage because of how the arena is set up in the amphitheatre style. I'd much rather be going to Leeds but just didn't fancy taking the time off work the next day.

Seating there was OK but I wouldn't have liked to have been upper tier, looked miles away!
