This came out hours ago.
I know it's hard to sift thru countless pages of threads.
Thanks though.

Why the Giappos have a DVD, and the rest of the world only one bonus song?

Never liked this song too much to be honest but I'm curious to see how it turned out. You can't really complain about bonus tracks.
I'm going to preorder the Japanese deluxe version as soon as it's available.

I don't think God Help Us All was a song for this album. I'm worried about the chance of throw the song all away... like Freaky Teeth in CY

I've always liked this since the first time I heard it in the Lord Don't Slow Me Down doc.

I wonder if he "Moon"-ed up this song, or recorded it more traditionally...I'm hoping for more of a straight-forward production on this little gem.

They normally say, well they always do on CD Japan if it's non Japan made and an identical release for the packaging. Some are exclusive to Japan like the recent 7 inch sleeves they have been issuing with CDs.

Looks like he is using the more songy efforts (this and Dead in the water) for the bonus tracks.

Every Japanese CD I've got has 'Made in Japan' written on it, so I suppose they're crafted in Japan.

Excited to hear the studio treatment, glad it isn't on Moon. Not sure I’m ready to accept shortening to ‘moon’ :-)

What I'm actually intrigued to hear is a fairly conventional Noel song produced by an excellent producer. Glad he's kept this to the side as something extra rather than disrupt the flow of what seems like a more atmospheric album.
I'm not expecting it to be torn up and mixed up in an experimental manner, but it will be fascinating to hear how a man who knows the sound dynamics as skilfully as David Holmes can bring the best out of it.

It may have been kept out of the sessions, they said there was a rule about bringing in music from outside. Unless they agreed it was only to be used as a b-side and therefore was allowed...I'm with you though, I'd be interested to see the Holmes treatment.

I have a feeling this was recorded around the time of CY. Prob not part of Holmes. I wouldn't want it to be.
