In NYC there was no opening band. He took the stage at 8:15 PM sharp. Be prepared.

Boston - Awesome set. Had a laugh at him messing up the guitar intro a little on Wonderwall (he and Gem did too). Wonderful show, well done guys.

There's a set list going around of his soundcheck at Boston.
He's - practising at least - The Right Stuff and Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me - so we may see those soon.

Wow, what a show! Noel was on top form. And it was great to see Gem and Chris again 😊 A few surprises in the set list, Go Let It Out ... WOW!!! I don't think I have ever heard Noel sing that before! Definitely didn't expect that one. All You Need Is Love was really nice as well, and I finally got to hear Ballad Of The Mighty I !! He dedicated DLBIA to "poor, poor fucking Tom Brady." 😁 Could have done without Wonderwall. And he mentioned that ass hat from last time that threw his CD up on stage without a name or number 😁 Classic !

I was told Tom Brady was there last night, btw. Not saying it’s true, people were just talking about it.

Would love to see Tom Brady in Noël's band; bet Tom Brady plays a mean guitar solo....
Thanks.

Doubt it’s true. er, what flight takes three days haha? I mean, I don't see Brady being at NG's gig either, but if he was flying back Thursday/Friday he could easily have been in Boston?

This thread's got me missing Tom Brady now....
Speaking of, will we ever really know why Malcolm Butler didn't play in Super Bowl? I doubt it.....would the Patriots had won if he did play? Who knows, him playing couldn't have hurt, though.
The only thing that pisses me off is that one Eagles player in particular, talking shit after winning the Super Bowl....you just don't do that.
My only hope for next season is the Eagles not winning the Super Bowl, and that one particular Eagles player getting ran over by a dump truck.
Thanks.

He played Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me in his encore last night in Montreal, moving Dead In The Water up further in the set. The setlist itself actually states 'The Right Stuff or Let The Lord Shine Shine A Light', meaning it's a decision on the night as to which gets played

Personally a bit disappointed he's torn up that encore, as I think it seemed to work really well from all the vids I'd seen.
Either of 'TRS or LTLSALOM' could easily fit as the penultimate song in the main set, surely?
And, ffs Noel, just play The Man Who Built The Moon!!!

All's nota Cast in stone I have a feeling that TMWBTM Will get its way on the european (or UK ONLY😭😭) tour... Fingers heavily crossed!

I'm liking Noel mixing up his set (albeit very slightly).
One of the worst things about seeing Oasis / NGHB's live a few times a tour was that it was pretty much the same setlist every gig.

I really dug the encore starting with just Noel (and Mikey) on stage alone doing this song acoustically. I'd love for Noel to do that for 3-4 songs mid set. Something powerful in watching him do that to a room full of 4,000 people. Very Dylan like.

But I just think one 'standalone' acoustic song in the middle of the set is odd. It worked in the encore, with the rest of the band coming out after... Dunno, just doesn't sit right on it's own in the middle.

I loved when I went to see him and he unexpectedly did Record Machine. I knew exactly what would come next the whole time during the concert, and then all of a sudden that one came. That was nice.

I thought that was a weird one to bring back, but remembering that he has the woman to do the vocals on Fort Knox etc it makes a lot more sense. Sounds much better than the version he used to do with the half-arsed solo.

By the way, Fort Knox is badass. It's so much better than having it as intro music.

He needs to ditch DITW, it's piss poor. Stick TMWBTM in its place.
