Actually looking forward to see what Weller's contribution is. He has a very distinctive voice. Maybe he'll be the soothing, ethereal background voice you normally hear in dance tracks. But instead of a hot lady singer it's Paul fucking Weller.

I'm looking forward to Noel moving to a new direction. But the fact that he's worked with Weller and Marr (as great as they are) do people think this is a sign he's holding on to his old ways? Or could they be part of this Noel Evolution we are hoping for?

I saw you tweeted something about 9/29 being the release of Beautiful World. Super lame if he only announces the album tomorrow with no single to support it. You wanna give this promotion legs. Only music can do that. True, but as pointed out before songs are usually released on Fridays. Dropping it on a Monday would be odd. Still hoping we might get to hear some music today, maybe a snippet at least... |

I would have thought that if they were going to play the single they'd be running with that, if he's going to premiere it both the station and Noel's people would want everyone to know about it to get as many people listening as possible. There's secrecy, but that would be taking it a bit far, giving no-one a reason to tune in! Which makes me thing we shouldn't get our hopes up for tomorrow (where I am anyway) I'm afraid. |

Fort Knox, Holy Mountain, and It's a Beautiful World are the only tracks that have a time indication - are these the three singles, perhaps?
(I hope not, I hate when the 'best' singles/songs are back-to-back like that).
