The Noel section talking about Coldplay. Just when you couldn't get any more beige Viva la Vida is probably better than any album released by Oasis or the Gallaghers in this century. I don't think Viva la Vida is better than SOTSOG or NGHFB. Viva la Vida and Violet Hill are quality tunes, but the rest of the album has about as much filler as a post-02 Oasis album.

So seems like Liam has heard something about the new album...? Edit: screwed up embedding the first time Liam hating the album would probably be a good sign that Noel has done the right thing. We know Liam's views on music. I dunno, Liam's music taste isn't that bad and he actually likes psychedelic music. I don't think he's genuinely saying he doesn't like (if he's heard it). He's just trying to piss him and his fans off.

The Noel section talking about Coldplay. Just when you couldn't get any more beige AH! NOW I REMEMBER! It all came back now. You're that dude that made a thread about how Beady Eye were better than the Beatles. Not only that, you also made various threads complaining about Noel. I never said Beady Eye were better than the Beatles. And i've done as many threads praising Noel as i have criticising him.

It's better than NGHFB imo and a more all-around collection of tracks than SOTSOG, but SOTSOG has songs I'd rather listen to than the lesser tracks on VLV.

I wouldn't be surprised if Noel pushes the album back because of Taylor Swift and to protect his #1 album streak but SURELY he'd only need to push it back until maybe a few weeks before Christmas to safely secure another #1 album?

Would the record really mean shit if he's running scared of Taylor Swift?

albums get released on Fridays. they can get a new song out whenever they please. click of the fingers it's on spotify, itunes, youtube, etc. You don't need that much of a build up, the music industry has changed Yes the industry has changed dramatically. Noel and Liam haven’t.
