at the moment i cudnt care how they win!! As long as they win...4th place is the highest target for this season, but bear in mind it has been a injury plagued season...Plus our 2 main strikers arent in usual top scoring form :/ Said it so many times, but I reckon Houllier should stay, let him have his few more seasons, hes proved himself once. Lets see if he can do it again...

It just seems to me like Liverpool fans see failure as acceptable now. Its all excuses. What happened to the old Liverpool??

Kewells had about 3 injuries one which put him out for about a month the others about two weeks. After that chelsea match that we won all three of our goalkeepers were injured. ok heskey hasnt been injured but he's crap anyway. Hamman missed the first three months of the season. Carragher broke his leg and baros broke his ankle both of these put them out for about 4 months.

He was out for a good few games (god knows why shadow kept him in her fantasy team...) either of your 2 top keepers have played in every premiership game this season. Kewell only missed 2 or 3 matches hamann, carragher, owen, baros - only 4 first team starters that were out for a long period. I take your point that you have had a fair few injuries, but sometimes it pisses me off when the top clubs have a few injuries and suddenly its a crisis!! I remember a few years back when sunderland had an entire squad of 16 first team players all injured at the same time.

even are 3rd keeper has been injured at the same time the two others were and kewells missed much more than 3 games. our biggest problems have been that when a decent player gets injured houllier hasnt been able to find a replacement because he hasnt spent well ...

our biggest problems have been that when a decent player gets injured houllier hasnt been able to find a replacement because he hasnt spent well ... yeah this is definitely the main point i'm not anti-liverpool btw - i'd like to see you guys join the top 3 and make things more competitive. imo, you're probs only 2 or 3 top class players away from that ok my bad- i got the goalkeeper thing wrong - But still Dudek and Kirkland have appeared in 27 out of 29 premiership games. Kewell has played in 27 out of 29, even Owen has played in 21 of 29. (BBC figures) its the fact that liverpool havent got good enough replacements (as columbia said) rather than the actual injuries themselves.
