Leeds United have extended the loan spell of Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant by another month.
The England Under-21 international has impressed since moving to Elland Road last August, scoring once in 26 Premiership appearances for the Whites.
Meanwhile, young striker Simon Johnson has revealed that he turned down a loan move away from Leeds and has reaped the benefits by breaking back into the first-team picture.
He told the club's official website: "I want to be a Leeds player and play here and that's why I decided to stay and fight it out in the reserves.
"Eddie Gray said there have been a few clubs interested in me, but I decided to stay here and play with the reserves and it's paid off for me."
Johnson has been loaned out Blackpool and Hull City to gain first-team experience.
