You drastically underrate their early career here. Yeah, some of their early output is superb: And I Love Her, A Hard Day's Night, All My Loving, Can't Buy Me Love, If I Fell, She Loves You, I'm A Loser, etc. Not even counting Help!, which is full of great songs (Ticket To Ride, Help!, Yesterday, The Night Before, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, It's Only Love, I Need You, I've Just Seen A Face).

My fav album is easily Beatles For Sale. So I tend to lean early stuff as well.

I want to name one underdog - I Want to Tell You.
To me, it is perfectly recorded song, every note is on its place. That guitar riff, piano, vocal harmonies...everything starts and finishes at the right time.

You drastically underrate their early career here. I've never understood how a select few think the Beatlemania phase is not 'great'. Just because it isn't 'arty' like the later albums (Rubber Soul onwards) doesn't mean the songs aren't great.
