I've seen the Dune documentary, Jodorowsky is one of a kind to be sure. Funnily enough Noel always claims not to watch films his two favourites being The good the bad and the ugly and Star Wars, but he'll pull out fairly obscure references; talking about the oxygen backstage at the 2006 gig to Frank's oxygen mask in Blue Velvet on the Lord don't slow me down DVD commentary.
Since film soundtracks are often mentioned in association with David Holmes, I thought it was interesting to note a potential influence from the film especially if the tune does turn out to be psychedelic.

Where has he said that? I always thought he was quite the film buff.

I noticed there was a new track on the list and got excited for a second, but it turned out to be a version of DLBIA:
DONT LOOK BACK IN ANGER CHETHAM S SCHOOL OF MUSIC VERSION
Come to think of it, since no other cover versions appear on the list, could that be a future b-side or bonus track (or charity Christmas single)?
