That's the best video of his solo career so far. Absolutely love it. Then what was that picture of Noel with Beautiful World in it for? Love the Roll With It reference on the second verse. This is just a "lyric" video. Assume the proper video which Noel instagrammed will be released later. X

Download available now from the official store. No physical release though? Shame not to get a b-side, even if only a remix. We know several remixes have been done. X
Who knows, we might get 12'' with a couple of remixes in the near future.

I love the beginning of the track. You can tell Noel was just noodling on the guitar and Holmes caught that tiny bit and looped it. It's like something Teo Macero would have done with Miles in the 70s.

Wonder why they played the radio edit when they did it live in Jools Holland. Perhaps that’s Noels preferred version?
The radio edit actually sounds like a more finished version of the song to me as far as structure goes (usually radio edits are the opposite).
It makes the album version sound like the remix, with needless extended sections etc...
The bass and drums in the verses are superb though. Wonder if they sampled the same beat used in Breathe by The Prodigy for it:
Noticed that the album trailer version was actually slightly different though, had the French “attention, attention...” line looping, which doesn’t happen on the real song. I had thought that was going to be reprised during the outro and would have been how the song would end, obviously not though!

From the official store : Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - It's A Beautiful World will be available to download after 2017-11-17 10:00:00 Available on Spotify and iTunes early doors, but official site not until 10am?? Crazy. I can see them doing this with the full album next week which will annoy me as I can't download to my phone until I get home from work :-(

I believe that is a sped up sample of Johnny The Fox by Thin Lizzy. We'll see when the album booklet is out I guess, but according to that making of video Noel was jamming with a drummer, so it may just be a coincidence and sound similar. X

The end of the spoken word section is actually taken from Kula Shaker then (about 3:36 in):

It's a good video. Song came after a conversation about Can. Noel just had a riff. Jammed along with a drummer. Holmes sampled the best bits. The spoken word idea was originally from the AA album, which would have had several spoken word bits. The song is sarcastic. He talks about "ISIS ruffians". The video will make it more clear it is sarcastic. Charlotte considers for her part at the live gigs telling people that Noel's album is bad for the soul, given that he can't understand what she's saying. X

I loved that song since the trailer came out. That's the most 'Noel-y' of the ones release up to now. The complete studio version should have been a tad more grandiose I think. The chorus shows a lot of restraint. But otherwise I love it.
I'm a bit disapointed that the annoucement is a Kula Shaker rip off but hey, that's Noel being Noel...

Hmm it has a similar sentiment but the wording is completely different. Happy to give him the benefit of the doubt that it's a coincidence this time to be honest, especially given that Charlotte was the one who wrote it over breakfast while looking at BBC news and that Noel probably hasn't listened to Kula Shaker since giving up drugs in the 90s. X
