Note: Rank your experience and NOT the bands themselves.
Going to University in Washington D.C. and then staying in the city for two more years for work, I was able to see a shit ton of British bands who toured there - respect.
Some bands I've seen twice, and the ranking takes into account the aggregate - if that makes sense?
[Also, I'm not trolling with my number one pick. It was actually the first gig I went to by myself as me mates had no clue who LC are and I fucking enjoyed the hell out of it. Immense].
Rank from Best to Worst
1. Los Campesinos 2. Arctic Monkeys 3. Oasis 4. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 5. Beady Eye 6. Stars 7. Black Kids 8. Kasabian* 9. Wombats* 10. Stereophonics 11. Klaxons**
*I was too drunk to even remember these two - if I wasn't well intoxicated, I think both would be ranked higher.
**Klaxons was my first ever gig I ever went to (2007), and ironically is the least favorite from all of them.

1. REM 2. Pulp 3. Beck 4. Bob Dylan 5. Oasis 6. Liam Gallagher 7. Prodigy 8. Cast 9. Ocean Colour Scene 10. Beatiful South
Pulp are probably only so hight because I met an extremely attractive young lady at that gig and got laid. 😆Good times 👍

I always intended to go and see them when I became a fan in 2009, so I was naturally gutted when they split. More so than when Oasis split actually.

I've been to so many gigs, especially past 10 years, but I'll try to post mine later.

I always intended to go and see them when I became a fan in 2009, so I was naturally gutted when they split. More so than when Oasis split actually. REM was the first big stadium gig I went to. It was 1995 on the Monster tour. When they were at there peak rock band. It was amazing. Also funny because beautiful south were the main support but there were rumours flying round all day that Oasis were going to play (this was just after SMS was released but before MG came out). The beatiful south duly came out and apologised to the crowd for not being oasis and then played the most ridiculously brilliant cover of some might say I've ever heard. This was pre camera phones though unfortunately so I've never heard it since. 12 months later I was at loch lomond to see oasis which as good as it was is always in my mind followed by the thought that it wasn't as good as REM. They were definatly my first love as a band.

Despite being seated somewhere incredibly high and me nearly shitting myself, Paul McCartney was definitely the best gig I've been to.
The worst one was when I went to see Mika do an acoustic gig about 9 years ago and was seated so far to the right that I was literally watching his back for the whole gig. Also the sound was crap so I didn't even hear half of it.

The Who (Glasgow Hydro)
The Stone Roses (Glasgow Green)
The Libertines (Glasgow Barrowlands)
Oasis (Edinburgh Murryfield Stadium)
The View (Glasgow Barrowlands)
The Killers (Glasgow Bellahouston Park)
U2 (Glasgow Hampden Park)
Stereophonics (Glasgow O2 Academy)
Noel Gallagher (Glasgow Hydro)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Glasgow Hampden Park)
Beady Eye (Glasgow O2 ABC)
The first 3 are particularly tied because they had such an impact on me. Libertines at Barrowlands was almost a biblical experience, it was one of their first comeback gigs and was beyond great - helped no less by the fantastic Barrowland venue. The Who was earlier this year but I was blown away by how great they were, especially at their age. Fantastic.

Being in a small town in Greece doesn't give a lot of choices for gigs. The gigs i've been to are mostly abroad.
1. Sabaton (Thessaloniki, Greece) 2. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Milan, Italy) 3. Megadeth (Istanbul, Turkey) 4. Dragonforce (Istanbul, Turkey) 5. Twilight Force (Thessaloniki, Greece) 6. Children of Bodom (Istanbul, Turkey)

Queensryche 69.(Song pun) Decapitated 14. Nightwish *- Some dick/female most likely on her period ruined these for me Blind Guardian? I saw them 3 times and every time it was great but only cause of their playing. There's nothing else that would put them above some other great technical band 1. Muse (cause Rock Werchter's setlist in 2015 was fucking amazing) 2. RHCP 3. QOTSA 4. Nick Cave 5. Biffy Clyro 6. Interpol 7. Atoms for Peace 8. Slash (was like 20 times better than Axl's GnR) 9. Liam 10. The Prodigy Never saw Oasis live but I did see Noel and wouldn't put it in my top 10, it was kinda boring. Good but boring

1. RHCP - 2016 2. Arctic Monkeys - 2014 3. David Gilmour - 2015
4. QOTSA - 2014
First 3 gigs were all great really. RHCP was in Amsterdam and I was off my fuckin tits, mad fer it. Got real close to the stage too. The QOTSA gig was ruined by the venue, it was total shite. Terrible acoustics, insane lines for everything, could barely move. Didn't help that I wasn't drunk and the band got on stage like an hour and a half late. My back was fuckin killing me at that point.

The ol' social anxiety stops me going to many gigs (getting therapy next week, something to look forward to) but out of my very few, Bob Dylan and Noel Gallagher stand out. In the queue to get in, I was about three metres away from the greatest songwriter of all time at one point (Bob Dylan, not Noel Gallagher, close as it is ) Anyway, that's going on the CV.

That's cool. And as much as I love noel/oasis it ain't close. For me Dylan is on another level entirely.
