Remember. It was for them. When i think back to this whole event, i want to remember the unbelievable show of unity i seen in Manchester. The documentary on ITV with some of the families was incredibly moving and the defiance of the families and friends was so brave. Its so wrong to let the Liam and Noel dispute come into this at all but both parties are equally to blame for letting it do so. Its been very sly by Noels side and if Sarah did say what she said then she needs to remind herself what the gig was for every bit as much as Liam does. Liams tweets have done nothing but give him bad PR and someone really does need to stop him using twitter like that. Then again when the worlds most powerful man cant be stopped then i doubt LG can be either.

He's wiping away sweat. Who the fuck said he cried? Why are we judging Noel because someone else watched that and thought Noel cried? Did Noel claim to cry? Smdh.

Smdh. www.nme.com/news/music/noel-gallagher-cries-we-are-manchester-2139314The NME for a start. And countless other media outlets too. I'm not judging him on this btw. Im only judging him on CAN YOU SING?!!

The pictures of him crying (or sweating) on Rolling Stone and NME are from another song, not DLBIA - he's holding an electric.

So what if he did? I can only admire someone who can show his emotions en public.

Any bootlegs knocking about?
I was there and really enjoyed it. Why the fuck they had Bugzy Malone on so late though I'll never know.

Yup, that's how I saw it too. Not saying that to pretend he's insensitive or whatever, but it just looks like he's wiping sweat away from his eyes. Anyway, without a higher resolution close-up video of this moment we won't be able to know for sure if it was sweat or tears.

we've been knowing noel (or his stage presence) for over 20 years. he's definitely not the guy who would shed a tear on stage.

Remember that time in '09 where Liam was butchering Live Forever and Noel looked like he was on the verge of tears?

He shed a tear on gogglebox so believe it or not robot Noel is occasionally able to exhibit human emotions. Do you seriously think it's completely out of the realms of possibility that he might have got a bit emotional when stood in a venue where children the same age as his daughter were murdered and over ten thousand people were singing his songs at him??

There were no tears. As Liam alluded to it was total bollocks.

On another note: I really like the "new", revised version of What a Life! without the falsetto parts. Sounds more sinister without them. Great job from Chris Sharrock on those drums as well.

wow haven't been back here for so long just to come back and find big complaints about very trivial thing like how he encourages the crowd to sing in his own way... I think Noel did a great job honoring those victims.

Funny that it was actually the Radio X presenter who described on air how Noel was being very emotional and crying during DLBIA. Just shows you how things get overdramatized.

Glad Noel came out and said that he wasn't crying. He could have rode that out and no one would have questioned him and let everyone assume Liam was being an idiot (which he was).

Can we all agree Weepergate is officially over now?
Or are the conspiracy theorists going to believe that Noel just backtracked after Liam called him out?
