What about that first half, Beady? We were always through. We have our eyes on Sunday. And for what it’s worth, I have no confidence for Sunday. City will smash us north of 4-0. De Bryune alone will kill us. Was a fun game anyway. Would have been intresting if they could have made another goal in the end, but now they will "only" be able to say that they beat Arsenal at their own ground

It really bothers me that AW will be starting Ospina in the final. I hate this nonsense from Wenger. In 1998, did he start Manninger in the FA Cul Final? Bollocks. Seaman started just as Cech should start on Sunday. To be fair, every club seems to do that nowadays. Also, I did give Arsenal a little hope till I found this out. Now all I can see is a demolition job from City, maybe 4 or 5-0?

He’s going nowhere. American owners happy with European qualification, even if its not UCL.

In 1997/98, with 12 games remaining we won 10 straight to win the league and finished with 78 points.
In 2017/18, we have 11 games remaining. If we win 11 straight, we'd also finish with 78 points and within the top 4.
Impossible is nothing.

Dear Arsene,
Baguettes are wonderful food. When you joined the club and added your own recipe, the baguettes you created were warm, soft, and tasty. When you personally added the butter, it was - dare I say - scrumptious. But overtime, your baguettes became stale and a shortage of butter compounded the problem.
I advise that you now fuck off back to France where you can buy all the baguettes that your little French heart desires. But the days of you producing those tasty baguettes on your own are long gone. Gordon Ramsay would be ashamed of what you produce these days, and so is Gary Neville.
Sincerely yours,
Beady

When was the last time we went 14+ years without winning the league?
We are quickly turning into Liverpool.

When was the last time we went 14+ years without winning the league? We are quickly turning into Liverpool. Since their first league title in 1931, there have been two 18 year droughts: First between '53 and '71, and then between '71 and '89. So you'll be happy again in four years time I guess.

I'd like to go back to 2004 and tell an Arsenal fan that in 14 years his team will be losing 3-0 to Manchester City in a half empty 60,000 seats big stadium while being on the sixth place, below Tottenham.

Xhaka is the heart of our midfield.
Let me say that again.
Xhaka is the heart of our midfield.
He is the worst Arsenal midfield player I’ve ever seen. I can’t stand him. He is shocking. Absolutely shocking.

I'd like to go back to 2004 and tell an Arsenal fan that in 14 years his team will be losing 3-0 to Manchester City in a half empty 60,000 seats big stadium while being on the sixth place, below Tottenham. Football works in mysterious ways has been destroyed by money. FIFY. There is literally nothing mysterious about it. If Roman Abramovich and those that followed never got involved, I am convinced that AW would have had a legacy practically on par with SAF. But alas, money did enter and AW was never able to adapt, a fault of imagination from Wenger for sure. But let’s get it right: When we decided to build the Emirates, it was prior to Abramovich getting involved, so Arsenal got doubly hurt by the finances of it all. I will say, it boggles my mind that AW got more from the likes of Bendtner, Chamackh, Gervinho, Senderos, Almunia, Djorou, Silvestre, Squalici, Denilson, Song.... Our current squad is much better than the dross I just listed. The utter underperformance from the current squad is bang out of order.

The "mysterious" aspect I was referring to was not how they didn't win at least three years in a row with that beautiful squad, but rather how bad(relatively speaking) they have been the last few years, and how they should have been better. Because like you said, he's done far better with worse squads than this one.
