To keep the trend that has developed over the last 11 years, here's the official Arsenal thread. One week from today is the start of the new season with Arsenal vs. Leicester. Lacazette and Kolasinac look to be good additions, but we still need to bring in at least one more player before the end of the window - otherwise it would be the same old Arsenal, always underachieving. It's good we're keeping Alexis, though. Prediction? 3rd with 81 points.

Arsenal Bumnal are now the club formerly known as Arsenal. A spineless collection of players with Fawlty Towersesque management.

Can't-be-arsed-nal
They're clearly giving Wenger the Mourinho treatment. They'll linger in the bottom half till January, when Wenger will get the sack and all of a sudden Sanchez and Ozil will turn up.

I don't want this to come across as offensive or taken overly serious but is AW suffering the onset of Alzheimer's? This has been on my mind for awhile - and don't think this is too far fetched: Ronald Reagan was suffering the terrible disease towards the end of his actual presidency. His team selections and decisions have gotten progressively worse that they now make literally no bloody sense. Like, no sense at all. What is going on with him right now? matt

I was hoping Liverpool would be in for him, he would thrive under Klopp. Conte's gonna make him seem a bargain.

It's what would have happened to Ferguson had he stayed on.

It's absolutely staggering that this video, which is 6 years old, is completely applicable today as we approach this Thursday's closing of the transfer window.
Can someone please tell me what the fuck Arsene Wenger is playing at?
Genius parody of Eminem's Stan, though.

BREAKING: Arsenal sign Theon Greyjoy from Iron Islands FC for £90m. Arsene Wenger says he should fit in well with the team as he has no balls.

Wenger should have left after winning the FA Cup. Arsenal have had the same problems for years now and he has failed to address them. The defence is still not good enough and there is a lack of leadership in the squad.

Arsene Wenger must have been William Shakespeare in his past life as he has a real talent for writing comedic tragedies.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wenger names himself as the left back for Bournemouth. The silly French sod has lost the plot.

Going into the season, looking at our opening 5 games, I think everyone would have thought 8 or 10 points would have been a fair return. (Leicester: Win, Stoke: Draw/Win, Liverpool: Draw, Bournemouth: Win, Chelsea: Lose).
As it is, we've got 7 points. Let's make no mistake, we had a difficult stretch to open the season. Anfield disaster aside, it hasn't been too too bad.

I'm actually going to predict this right now:
Wenger will be sacked this season. He won't make it to May.
3 losses from the opening 8 matches. Fuck off.
