Leeds United have extended Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant's loan spell by another month.
The 20-year-old had found first-team opportunities limited at Highbury, but has made 23 appearances for the troubled Elland Road outfit this season.
He has scored just once, in the 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea in early December.
Leeds are hoping to further extend the deal on a month-by-month basis until the end of the season.
England Under-21 international Pennant joined the Gunners as a 16-year-old from Notts County and has also had two separate loan stints with Watford.
