lm a Liverpool fan so fundamentally i hate united. Mainly just because of the rivalry between the two sets of supporters. Im glad they exist though because when you beat them its just the best thing in the world and you get to taunt your united mates about it till you play them next, when they probably win and its shite.

Im glad they exist though because when you beat them its just the best thing in the world . why do you think that is? to me, its because man united are the best team and the team everyone aspires to be we all want our teams to play like them and have the glamour and romance that comes with their history. i'm probably gonna get slated for this....but the reason fans hate them is usually jealousy! ;D (of course there are other reasons - the arrogance, abuse of power etc.) 1. United don't have all the money. They have more than most, because they are better than most. We live in a capitalist country! get used to it ;D btw - ever of heard of a man called Roman Abramovich? 2. chinese people? ermm ok....can't think of any chinese people at man united so i presume you mean the actual city? in that case you must hate Manchester City too.... 3. The Gallaghers hate them because of the local rivalry which is more understandable. anyway - noel and liam talk a lot of bollox ;D reasons to like Man United- 1. Ryan Giggs 2. Roy Keane 3. Van Nistelrooy 4. Paul Scholes etc etc ;D

noooo!
go eat a prawn sandwich!
i think a lot of people hate the supporters more than the team. Most of them are on that wagon cause they're always at the top. grrr...

reason number 5. They do a tasty prawn sandwich fine, hate the glory supporters. but man united have a hard core following that most clubs can only dream of. But yeah they do have a lot of glory supporters, but so do all clubs when they are doing well. Even Sunderland ;D The fact that man united has more than other clubs is because they have done so consistently better than other clubs...

Personally I don't really root for any of the UK teams. But a few I feel really strong feelings for. Since I have had some excellent experiences during their matches. With great welcomes by the fans and great play too fe'r that matter. Thus I can't say I dislike any of the teams either, but if I dislike one it has to be Man.Utd. Teams that have given me a good time during my quick visits in the UK; Blackpool Liverpool Manchester City Fulham Charlton Big thanks go out to the Fulham, Charlton and Liverpool fans. My first English beer was bought for me by a Fulham supporter too, really priceless

Not to sure about the history though, Liverpool are the most succesfull club in British football still, however long that may last. Certainly recent history though, we havnt compared to them over the last 15 years. Im not to sure about uniteds future. I dont think there team is anything like as good as it was in the treble season. Beckhams gone, Keane and giggs are getting on a bit now and the people theyve brought in are ok but im sorry no where near as good. Ronaldo is crap. Van nistelrooy is brilliant, and one of the best strikers in the world, but could you imagine what would happen to them if he was injured for the rest of the season. I think chelsea could well be the next united, with abramovich's money in the long run there almost guaranteed success. However back to united. Throughout my childhood being a liverpool fan and having man united supporters for mates i have had to watch there sucess and be taunted by it constantly so for that reason, no matter what their succes i will always hate united. Even if they were bottom of the third and nearing administration, i would still cheer every defeat and love it.

My first English beer was bought for me by a Fulham supporter too, really priceless priceless? must of been one nice beer! what was it - Stella? ;D Columbia - you mentioned the history thing. i did choose my words carefully when talking about man united - i said they have a history of romance and glamour, not so much success. because of course you're right to point out that liverpool are historically the most successful. But man united have a glamour about them that no other club comes close to. Maybe it comes from the whole George Best era etc, i dont know - but it is an X factor that makes them stand out as for their future. Remember the last time Man united went through a transitional period? they got rid of the oldies and brought in a load of kids...namely Beckham, Scholes etc. They are doing the same thing again and i wouldnt bet against them producing another comparable team in a year or two. Ronaldo is young and needs time, yes. but to say he is crap? i disagree ;D he will be awesome. his crossing ability is excellent Saha is a great buy for them. they have needed cover for Ruud for ages now, you're right. Tim Howard is top class, and Kleberson looks good. I think they will sign a young PSV player called Robben next summer? who is apparantly the next big thing. i think it was a mistake to sell Beckham, but Fergie knows what he is doing. My tip is for Beckham to join Chelsea within two years yeah Chelsea will be huge - biggest team in Europe within 2-3 years if he keeps spending. its inevitable

I think the premiership is a lot stronger now then it was when united won with those kids. I think if they tried to do that again they wouldnt win. Robben looks a good player though ill give u that, for 5m just a great buy. I disagree about ronaldo though, i saw him against wolves the other week and he was terrible, not bad, terrible. He couldnt cross to save his life, hit the first man everytime. People say he's a box of tricks, no he's not, he has one trick he steps over the ball. Now everytime he has the ball the defender just stands there watching step over it for 15 minuites and then just tackles him, imo he could actually be a worse signing than diouf. 11m, he wasnt worth a quarter of that. Saha's a good player but i wouldnt want him in my team. Not the way he reacted when Fulham rejected united's bid, fucking baby.

Saha's a good player but i wouldnt want him in my team. Not the way he reacted when Fulham rejected united's bid, f*cking baby. apparantly a lot of what he was quoted as saying in the papers, wasnt actually him. i'm not sure, but i heard it was mostly tabloid crap. He played for Fulham during the hole saga and did well - even scored. it will be interesting to see if the kids can make the step up. its always a gamble but if anyone can make it work, it is alex ferguson But by that time Chelsea maybe too far in front. it is a strange time - Real Madrid are financed by the Spanish government, Chelsea by a Russian billionaire...how do the rest of us compete? Back to Ronaldo - i missed the Wolves game so i cant comment on it. i have seen him several times and i'd say his form has been inconsistent, but he has shown several flashes of what he can do. His crossing is sometimes inaccurate, but hopefully that will improve. the thing that impresses me is the curve, speed and whip he gets on them. give him time lol yeah his stepovers! i must admit i am biased here. i only have two tricks on the football field - the stepover and the nutmeg ;D so i like watching wingers like Ronaldo! he goes way over the top with them though. but he is young, he will learn Diouf looked sooo good at the world cup - what happened to him? i was expecting great things from him

Diouf looked sooo good at the world cup - what happened to him? i was expecting great things from him you and me both, i think its mainly because he's being played out of position. I think if we played him upfront then he would do much better. Which is why i hope we can sign a proper right sided midfielder in the summer and diouf can go back up front. It says in the paper today that we are getting diego tristain from deportivo on loan till the end of the season. Now that would be good, it would take the pressure off owen and i think then we would get in the champions league, lets hope he signs. Not hopeful though, probably bull shit as houllier said there will be no transfers made in january.

Ronaldo dances around too much. Like the Columbian said, he's got that one step, but most defenders have figured it out. He better stop dancing though, cause they're gonna start going for his shins soon( i hope).
