What A Life! was the track that got me into NGHFB, and then into what Oasis had released, then through collabs/remixes/labels/etc. into other artists who made most of the music I listen to... So it's got to be #1 for me  |

Everybody's on the Run and While the Song Remains the Same are the only real contenders for me. I gave it to EOTR for that epic string part before the final choruses.

I ticked "The Right Stuff", but saying that "Everybody's On The Run" comes a close second would be an understatement - it is equally as good in my eyes... ears even. But TRS is a remnant of what would be a proper radical album from Noel had he had the balls to go through with this Amorphous Androgynous thing, and that is why I hold it in such high regard  |

Choosing 'While The Song Remains On The Same' is like choosing 'Roll With It' as Oasis best tune.
Both songs are fine and good... but that's it.
Am I missing something?

WTSRTS is a good mix of classic Noel with a new modern space-rockey sound, which is exactly where I want Noel to go. It isn't dancey like WAL or TBOTMI but it isn't a Sardy plodder like Dream On either. The mood of the song is tremendous and its a journey all the way through. It is powerful yet relaxing at the same time. The intro lures you in and then the song explodes and doesn't come down. I remember upon first listen I was blown away, I didn't want the song to end. And then in the song he describes exactly how I feel (while the song remains the same, let it go on). Perfect.
If I were to ever go into space, I'd want to listen to Endors Toi by Tame Impala during liftoff, then WTSRTS as I cruise through space and see Earth in the distance.
Wow I got weirder than NL4E/Beady's Here now with that last line.
