Half empty = Pessimism = Focussing on the negatives, which leads to those negatives tending to get fixed, but being in a worse mood.

OTOH...

Half full = Optimism = Focussing on the positives, which leads to negatives often getting worse, but being in a good enough mood to cope.

So you need a balance, a negative mindset persuading you to focus on issues, but a positive mindset so you feel like it's worth getting out of bed in the morning so you can actually deal with those issues.

I voted for Half Empty to push the balance closer to 50:50
