I don't get the criticism for any "standard" setlists during the U2 gigs. He's an opener act this time, he wants people to sing along. They could sing along to a million different Oasis songs, yet he churns out the same boring old ones This. |

You could say the opposite, there is little pressure on these gigs as he's just supporting and can try a few different things out. The Boy Without The Blues seems to have almost got the set list spot on! Anyway I guess it's one of those Oasis debates that will go on forever. |

From the "Noel" catalogue, there's not many songs he could've thrown into the set and expect people to cheer. Usual U2 fan people wouldn't sing along to, say, Sad Song or She's Electric. Maybe Don't Go Away or something else, yeah, but this time I get why Noel's playing safe. |

I was talking about Oasis songs. Didn't consider the solo career. Again, I don't like Noel's usual setlist. It's boring, I agree. But this time I get why he would keep it like that. I'll wait to throw my critics, if needed, at the beginning of the solo tour. |

I am always the first to complain abou lack of variety on setlists, but I'm not surprised at all he choose to play his last album tunes + oasis anthems that where already rehearsed.... |
