Regarding Radiohead. I must confess i´m a fan of their work until Amnesiac and part of Hail to the Thief. After that i never got into anything Thom Yorke released. I can understand who does not like them though, it´s not a style everyone appreciates. Jumped right off before their 4th masterpiece........In Rainbows. I highly recommend checking it out. Indeed, great album! It was one of their most accessible in a while

I love Noel but it's pretty shitty if he didn't even bother to watch Liam's set.

Anyone find a working HD video of the entire show? Preferably a US friendly link. Cheers

We've got our Liam back. Looks cool as fuck again too. Reminds me of the 2005 DBTT era. Geezer!

I agree, he's on top form again , great to see. Just watched the full set and it's hard to believe we are watching him sing songs like d'know what I mean and be here now, he's giving us fan's back what we want.
First the box set on Friday and then this set at glasto hearing DLBIA and the new songs. Good times.

I watched the whole performance again and dear god, I still can´t believe he can sing again, yeah sing, not shout. When he announced the solo record I had no fear about the studio versions because he still nailed those pretty much, but seeing live stuff like this even with his different voice is kind of a recovery. I think a certain thinness in his voice is the left-overs of kermit that on certain notes you can notice it more(on Rock N Roll Star at the beginning there´s a part where it´s very noticeable) but i´ve just learned to live with the fact there´s always going to be that bit of kermit in his voice in some songs(that´s just the damage he did to his voice that´s never gonna be recovered), but it´s pretty much killed for now. Universal Gleam sounded better now for me on this higher quality Pro Shot, but i still think it´s the song he struggles more on the whole set along with Wall of Glass and the beginning of Rock n Roll Star.
I just hope i get to see him in Portugal, Beady Eye had a concert on their last your scheduled for here but it got called off but the High Flying Birds have come here and so have Oasis(but i was too young). I hope he comes, I don´t want to fucking die without experiencing certain tunes live.

This is a beautiful thing. I don't know how he pulled this off but it almost made me wanna cry! Them singing together would have been amazing. Noel doing one part and Liam on the other the way he did this is how I'd dream of it being They sound so good meshing their vocals together. This song may have been even bigger if oasis did it this way

Dunno if someone else already linked it but the telegraph gave Liam 4/5 for Glasto as well. www.telegraph.co.uk/music/concerts/glastonbury-liam-gallagher-puts-show-gleefully-sticks-two-fingers/Only criticism was no Wonderwall and no Live Forever. I would have loved to see Live Forever obviously (preferably with the band not acapella). On Wonderwall I'm torn, kind of think its been done to death BUT the people there would have loved it and I would have been curious to see how the performance would have compared to the one at the Olympics.

Made it based on the Wembley 2000 performance, so, Noel only sings the last chorus, and i couldn't get rid of the sound of that damn thing that Liam plays.

There are some real miserable people on this forum.... it's not 1994-1997 anymore, gotta stop whining and crying about it all and appreciate the fact that we still have music coming outta these two brothers..... If you don't like it then just keep posting in your oasis thoughts for the day thread. Can't get away from 94-97 when the best songs(by a country mile) Liam sang today were from 94-97. D'you think Elvis fans in 1969 expected to hear/see the same as in 1956?

What a moment... Just amazing, thrilling... Liam, baby. Killing it! Bring on the tour.
And whoever brought up Radiohead - those humorless lifeless weirdos - needs to move along. We're talking about RnR here, mate.
And for the few miserable sods here overanalyzing Liam, wishing for 1993 and otherwise bringing the rest of us down... go join the Radiohead convo elsewhere.

Those "humorless, lifeless, we need rock n roll" you spoke of have headlined Glasto 3 times with rave reviews including this very year. Oasis did it once in 2004 and were slaughtered. Believe it or not, Radiohead can rock and can roll. And do a lot more.

It's a self congratulating circle of bullshit "Oh hey man, I really get your music, I really see what you were doing there man" "Oh thanks maaaan, not everyone gets it, you know? You must be quite an artistic person to appreciate this". It's like "modern art", "Yeah so I've chained this garden gnome to an iPod to show that while we obsess over this capitalist world we will forever be small people, trapped and controlled by it."
