One more note before I get off the internet for the day: as pointed out by Colin Cowherd of the Herd on Fox Sports, one of the daytime shows I watch; it's basically white noise, it's just on, but, the Patriots have a lot of draft picks in the next NFL draft, they aren't going anywhere.....and I can continue to annoy pussies here.
Thanks.

Definitely. The Patriots deserved to win, especially since they pulled off three 3rd downs in a row(with about 10 yards to go in all of them) when it mattered the most, but a coin toss should NEVER get to play such a huge part in an important game. Just imagine if there would be a Champions League semi final ending in a penalty shootout, and the winner of the cointoss would get one or even two extra penalties. It would be an outrage, those rules in the NFL are an outrage. Obviously the other side should have a chance to respond. I can't believe how these rules are accepted. They review some plays for two hours because it's so important to get everything right, but then they're suddenly going to let a coin toss decide who gets to play in the Super Bowl... Yeah its pretty stupid. Not trying to take anything away from the Patriots either, i mean tom Brady was unbelievable, but thats the most unsatisfying ending to such an amazing game possible. I would even say its simply unfair. Some of the rules in the NFL are pretty fucking stupid. How can you not throw a flag on that missed call against the saints? And like you said, people would riot if football, you know the game where you actually use your foot was decided by a fucking coin toss. Just so stupid Soccer has ties for Christ sake! How can you complain about overtime rules!? I'd rather play cards with my sister's kids than tie.... Thanks.

The Cleveland Browns tie.... How about this idea for soccer.....a penalty shootout for a tie score after regulation: pick the best two players from both teams, settled with dueling pistols, wow. God bless.

The Problem is you dont seem to understand the difference between Champions league and domestic leagues and their league Cups. There are different systems in place and they work out great. Its all fair and square you know even though i dont like the away goal rule in the international competitions

Yeah but that was in the 60s, the whole system with two group stages was fucked up back then Must say that's one aspect of "old" football that I kind of like the idea of though, if you put aside stuff like Argentina paying off Peru in 1978 and reaching the final on goal difference and similar crap. With that system you actually have to win games, and can't draw your way to victory like Portugal in 2016. But the system now is still more fair I guess.

Anyway, I'm off until the Super Bowl probably.....hopefully be able to post about shit in non-NFL threads about Tom Brady......don't care, I can watch daytime television for the next two weeks. Love the penalty shootout - it's bullshit, too, though.....they should keep playing until a team scores for a fair outcome. Life isn't fair, figure that out and you'll be a lot happier or drink and take drugs. Thanks.

I put a lot of stock into homefield advantage, I'm impressed and shocked that the Patriots won.....that was impressive. Why does no one complain that you constantly post unrelated Tom Brady posts in almost thread you participate in? Nobody knows. If it was anyone else they’d probably be gone. Very true, it’s annoying

But then again make a stop on the other End to even it out. Just imagine how many commercials you could squeeze into overtime

Like I said, stop them, the Chiefs could've stopped the Patriots and won with a field goal..... Note: one time, in an overtime game between either the Broncos and Patriots, or the Colts and Patriots, i.e. Brady vs. Manning....Bill Belichick gave the ball to Manning in overtime, with the wind coming at him, knowing he couldn't pass the ball down the field; the Patriots got the ball back and won on a field goal, I think, maybe a touchdown...Bill Belichick's a genius. Thanks.
