OK, maybe a bit 'hermetic' thread, but there might be some people here who actually care about such stuff.

I've noticed that Jay Mehler uses Bluesbreaker amp + Marshall 4x12 cab. It gives definitely more 'deep' tone than Noel's or Gem's setup. Interesting sound-wise, cause Bonehead used to like Bluesbreakers around BHN era. Did anyone notice what gear the 2nd guitarist played on? Also, very cool to see the keyboard player using Mellotron on many songs.

was Jay exclusively playing lead? it sounded like the guitarists were alternating between rhythm and lead a lot.

I think the green one in the pic above is Ibanez Tubescreamer - one of the best overrides ever made. Might be it.

I've got a tubescreamer but I think there is something added to the effect chain, I'll try out some settings tonight.
