Just got back from the gig (via a few bars...it is my 30th birthday..)
Dunno what to add that's been said already, but my experience...
Always thought we wouldn't get a mega long set, as they're warm-ups for festival dates (setlist will be an hour max), and tickets were reasonably cheap for an established artist at a small venue. He could have charged £70 a ticket and sold it out...
Sound wasn't amazing in the venue (despite being next to the sound desk!), but his band sounded decent - really good to hear Drew on backing vocals, did all of Noel's parts on Rock 'n' Roll Star. Not sure about Fuckin' In The Bushes as an intro. I mean, it's a Noel instrumental!?
The crowd were pretty good, seemed a bit different to Oasis crowds (not entirely), but a lot of teenagers there.
First couple of songs, so far, so Beady Eye 2013! They sounded as good if not better tonight though.
Good to hear D'You Know What I Mean, couldn't really tell how good he was vocally on the Oasis songs due to everyone singing along. People were loving them obviously.
As for the new songs - quite hard to tell in an atmosphere like that, but some sounded like run of the mill Beady Eye songs, a couple sounded promising, but would need to hear the studio versions. Wall of Glass was basically what we've already heard except he sings 'Wall of Glass' a couple of times as a refrain, and there's an interesting off-kilter guitar bit a couple of times in the middle.
Bold had the 'Strawberry Fields' mellotron all over it. Sounded ok - nothing that special to me...
Best part of the night were the last two songs. Hearing the intro to Be Here Now - never thought I'd see it in the flesh, sounded just as good as you'd imagine it would do. Sounded huge. My favourite song of the night.
And then, I thought he'd come back on and do Live Forever. But not like that! Seriously impressive. Wonder if he'll keep it up like that for the rest of the tour? Was pretty magical on the night.
'Stand up for the 22' chants made me as emotional as I've been over the attack in the city that I live.
Wish he'd come back and done one more song. The crowd were hoping too - had choruses of 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out', 'Don't Look Back in Anger' and 'Live Forever' before everyone finally gave up and went home.
A decent start from LG - there's plenty I could probably pick at with the new songs etc. But that's probably for another day.
I'd rather have him out there doing his thing than sitting in a pub in Hampstead.
He sounds about as good as you'd expect - I'm not expecting 90's Liam to show up, but I think he sung as well as he possibly can do tonight. He was giving it everything.
Let's hope the album's decent.

Everyone seems bored. I wonder if Liam will be the act at festivals where people go and get a beer

Just had a good listen, here are my thoughts:
His voice is as good as anyone could have expected, by which I mean it's not 1996 and never will be again but it sounds really damn good all the same.
Oasis songs were belted out. Slide Away and DYKWIM were particularly impressive.
New stuff is a mixed bag from these snippets. I will try not to listen to them too much as I would rather wait for the record. I say TRY not to because I can't stop listening to Bold. Absolutely love it. Great tune and a great vocal. Absolutely cannot wait for the studio version of this. Wall of Glass is also really cool and catchy on first few listens. Had me singing the chorus pretty fast. Good sign.
Of the rest, Paper Crown sounded interesting, the others I honestly thought sounded like low level Beady Eye and did not catch my attention at all. I will wait for the record to hopefully prove me wrong on those. Very excited for the release and all the stuff to come before then.
The main thing is he is back on stage singing. The world honestly felt like it was missing something when I couldn't go see Liam on stage in THAT pose filling a venue with THAT voice. It's so so good to be reminded what exactly was missing. Man do I wish I had tickets for the London gig.
Do the world a favour and Live Forever Liam.

Killer gig. Voice was basically what I expected, still a bit beat but powerful and more than adequate nonetheless. Anyone got any recordings of All I Need or I Get By? Haven't been able to find that on YouTube or Periscope anywhere.

I want to wait till I hear a full version of his new songs. Welcome back Liam. We all have waited for it so long.

Just woke up from the night before with the gig. Here is my thoughts :
Liam's voice was really good, albeit I couldn't really hear it on the Oasis songs. When I did hear it on solo stuff, he sounded really good.
I liked quite a lot of the new songs but there were a couple, can't remember which now but it was the second bunch, I started to loose track of which song was which and the crowd started to loose itself.
When Bonehead came on the crowd went mad, especially as they then did Be Here Now. That and Dyer Know What I Mean sounded so good. Then when Liam done an accapella version of Live Forever, was beautiful. It was such a brilliant and beautiful moment.
Yes it was a shame that they didn't come on till just after 9.30 when the posters said 9. Yeh he only done 13 songs. But my word, what a fucking show. I loved every minute of it.

What. A. Night. Voice is shot and the ears are still ringing. Sound wise it was just like watching Oasis in '97 again. The old tunes sounded better than they ever did - a proper wall of sound. But that's the problem. The muddy production meant that it was very hard to work out whether the new songs were much cop. It was so loud that you could barely make out any melodies or riffs - it was just a big old noise!
But I like it noisy and there were a few stand outs. Wall of Glass we all knew anyway (bit disappointed that the chorus was just "Wall of Glass" but it's a decent tune), YBR, YBH was great and Universal Gleam felt like a rocked up country tune. Paper Crown could be the glory we've all been waiting for but his voice strained and, again, the sound didn't help get the song across fully.
I'm not going to watch any of the videos (and I fucking hate being at a gig surrounded by people waving their phones about) because I want to hear the songs properly (on record) next but I'm really looking forward to this album now.

The drum beat is exactly the same as the Be Here Now mustique demo. But isnt Trip Inside an acoustic guitar instrumental? 😉 Yes, that's how it's intended to be. The word from a big liar(s).

Hard to tell until some better quality videos come out but my initial thoughts are:-
1) Liam's voice - fairly good, strained in some places. 2) New tunes - I like more than I don't. New songs in a gig are always a hard one to tackle. I think ones like Paper Crown will be great on the record but don't necessarily suit a live gig environment - a studio session for radio would be perfect here. 3) Old tunes - pretty good. Loved DYKWIM and BHN.
I think overall, just seeing Liam back singing on stage is great.
I AM BUZZING FOR TOMORROW.

Only heard be here now and wall of glass so far as I'm on my way to work. Be here now sounds really great. So cool to hear this one live after 19 years. Wall of glass, I think it's catchy and the weird instrumental bridge reminds me a bit of scary monsters bowie!
Anyhow, Liam, it's good to be back!

Everyone seems bored. I wonder if Liam will be the act at festivals where people go and get a beer You seriously bothered registering just to post that trolling negative crap ? What a sad twat you are Anyway back to the gig. Feel knackered, got in about 1am but had a great great night. Been watching some of the videos back and the new songs are growing on me a lot. Got a signed poster so i'm happy with that. It was great seeing Oasis at wembley/maine road/knebworth etc but the small gigs like that are brilliant. Felt a bit sorry for the mum and her 15 year old daughter who were at the front and had waited for ages, one song in i saw them trying to rush out from the 'mosh pit' as they didnt realise what that was going to be like ! Top night though, hope his voice holds up as in past Beady Eye tours it starts off great then goes downhill a bit. But the band were superb, Liam was great. Top night

Pretty decent quality. Only audio I´m just quoting myself!...WHAT A FUCKING TUNE! Quality tune, though I miss one more "Wall of Glass" line in the chorus, don't know why they are repeating it only two times, it feels there is one missing in between.

First off all, thank you everybody who took the time and battery life to stream via periscope.
Here are my impressions based on what I saw and heard.
1. LG & the Sunshineeee Band: It's loud, aggressive and sounding like a menace. LG commanded the stage and whoever the bandleader is, shaping the sound, they've got a good thing going.
2. New Songs*: Passionate. With periscope being what it is, words were not clear to me. So all I can go by is melody, chorus, and catchy-ness. Based on that "all I need" is Neo. I might be in the minority here, however the "need to hear a studio version" argument, falls a bit flat, when you're looking for a gut reaction, not a dissertation.. so the other songs did not 'catch me' right away *written with the usual caveats.
3. Old songs: Great choices. He went for the 'brickest of brick walled' Oasis songs. If his voice holds up, he'll be a v tough act to follow on any stage.. Which is not a bad title to own.. Most menacing rock show in 2018
OVERALL: The music world is a far superior and better place with LG roaming in it.
Good to have him back.

Yep. Very Stonesy (which is what the Mustique demo sounds like). I mean, the song is basically just going off the riff of one of the Stones' biggest hits anyway. Which Stones song? Honky Tonk Women

Lets face the truth. 'Bold' is another beatlesque shitty tune. Liam can't sing high notes on it and Wall of glass which is funny. Im not happy at all
