Not seeing anything on iTunes or Spotify in the US about the single, no pre-order or artists' page. Has there been any word on US distribution? I'm hoping we don't get Beady Eye'd again release wise over here.

US gets the short end of the stick once again.
Remember when Beady Eye signed to Columbia, but not in America, where promo was nonexistent and distribution was left to some indie label, meaning 'BE' didn't come out until 5 months later.

America doesn't even promote the best rock bands. Why are you surprised Liam gets ignored?

He's actually had a lot of US press today surprisingly, and very positive at that. Of course lots of shitty comments on the posts, but that's standard.

God forbid I want to support the artist and be able to download the album on iTunes or stream it on Spotify. So you cant order from abroad? Sure, I could buy an import CD or record and have it shipped to me, but I mainly use streaming platforms as I'm often on the go. What then? There's no good reason not to just have a universal release on all physical and digital music platforms. Maybe they press less CDs and records for the US market, but throwing the damn thing up on iTunes/Apple Music/Spotify on the day of release seems like a no brainer.

Agreed, worldwide digital distribution isn't hard to do.
Would be a shame for all the press going on and no one can stream or download it.

I live in Ohio, bought BE on vinyl from the official store and didn't get it for a month. It was unreal and awful, and the only other option was to download it illegally somewhere. Judge if you want, but I buy my music and want to support the artists I care about.
The fact that Wall of Glass isn't listed on iTunes or Amazon frustrates the hell out of me. I'm hoping it pops up in his online store, but dammit is it hard to love the Gallaghers here in the States. Way harder than it should be.

I tried to pre-order off amazon.co.uk and it wouldn't let me buy with a US card sadly.

Same thing happened with 48:13 with Kasabian. Took about 2 or 3 months before it finally showed up over here. And they wonder why people download illegally...

The same thing happened to me in Chicago with the BE vinyl. I also like streaming and walking around with my music. It's honestly idiotic. The US got screwed on the last BDI tour, with the BE release and the lack of a tour. I had to buy tickets for Lolla because I'm not remotely sure that he'll come back to the US after Lolla. I'm hoping it comes up in an interview at some point, what the deal is with the US.

i was one of the lucky ones that got the autographed card with the BE cd when it came out. i think i ordered off the official store? i can't remember. then i scored the vinyl later on at a record show from a dealer i know from new york who specializes in imports. but yeah, good luck trying to get anything gallagher-related over here, not an easy thing to do.

just checked the google play music store, nothing there either. You would think it's still the 1950's here. A Liam release is only an unconfirmed rumor here.

I wish they would do a sequential global release. Why are they not even bothering with the US again? Really annoying if i have to import again.

I wish they would do a sequential global release. Why are they not even bothering with the US again? Really annoying if i have to import again. Right? Is the mindset "Oh it won't go Top 10 on Billboard, so why bother"? I mean, in 2011, DGSS went to #31 on the Hot 100 (while NGHFB went to #28 during a bit more competitive season and a minor alternative radio hit ["What a Life"] backing it). The next album didn't even chart because they didn't give a shit about America. But honestly, that's more fuel for the fire for detractors who say they're washed up. If fucking Blur AND the Stone Roses could play Madison Square Garden in 2015 and 2016, then there's got to be a market for Liam's solo stuff. Plenty of British ex-pats over here, you know. It's a big fucking country.
