Growing up around a crazed one team only grandfather, just wanted to know any spefic rules. His rules for me were just 4: 1) Don't ever support the rivals of family teams (his was Collingwank.....er Collingwood) 2) Supporting a single player and following him/her from club to club is frowned upon. If this occurs, you must first agree to support for life the player’s last club. Aka the junk contract. 3) You may choose to support the team your family supports, over your local club. For life. (for me, it's Carlton. Taken from my Grandmothers side) 4)If picking a team to follow in a new sport, you must never pick the reigning premiers. I’m looking at you, New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Penguins fans.
So, any rules for you?
