Hi all
Anyone remember Oasis Ultimate forum? Must be 15 years ago at least. Anyhow I was a member on that one with the same name, quite a good little place. Had people like mailteeth, jimmy mcnewbits, lee in the sky, some bird called cuddlykittie (!) running it. Think it got invaded by Oasisforum people then died a death not long after....

I own the domains still and was webmaster during run 2013 to 2015 web-beta.archive.org/web/20141218034954/http://oasis-ultimate.com/Closed it to legal pressure or legal risk. Wasn't worth the personal risk to myself and my personal career was growing. We pushed the enveloped maybe too far with bootlegs. Fan sites aren't like they used to be, from management pushing shutdowns to facebook, twitter and thumblr. I'm a old geezer on oasis fan sites and things changed. I enjoyed the time and the people. However, I did not enjoyed International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and I really don't enjoy Wonsaponatime. Could it return someday? Never say never, but I will hold on the domains so it won't turn into some Chinese ad sites. During my short run as webmaster, it was beautifully designed, purely ad free and pure to it's core.
