Is not a bad album.Empire (song),Me Plus One and The Doberman are amazing tunes. But Shoot The Runner is just a 3' long chorus. By My Side sounds great, but just the first minute. Last Trip is dull. Stuntman is great live, but on the record gets me to sleep. The orchesta thing in the album is great though, but to me is their worst album. But that doesn't mean is a bad album That's OK, I did not mention that to be contrarian, just to point out how very different taste can be. I loved Empire from the first second, each and every song and I love it every time I listen to it. That really does not happen very often, one of my magical albums. Yeah man,I understood. I think no one can be objective on music. Its just different taste!

I may be a 'tit', but I don't know how you deduced that from the quoted post. Please explain. That album is not their best. That honor goes to their debut. Stop being a contrarian. Agree, would a song as terrible as La Fee Verte or the cringy Goodbye Kiss go on their debut? Not in a million years. The debut had balls to it. Velociraptor smells like a wet dog in comparison.

Velociraptor is a good record but it was the point when they started to become too cartoonish...

WRPLA is the 2nd one for almost all the people in here. For me it is:
1. WRPLA 2. Kasabian 3. Velociraptor! 4. Empire 5. 48:13
Decide between the top 3 is terrible, each album with it own context and personal meaning, all of them well constructed, just incredible to listen from the 1st track to the last one. The choose was made by what they are live, when WRPLA evolves of a excellent to an massive album.
By the 6 tracks I've listened from For Crying Out Loud, I hope to see this album being the 4th of the ranking. It depends if the level of the other 6 tracks will be the same or higher.

Aside to the album, in WRPLA Era Kasabian used to open their gigs with a b-side, like Oasis did in the 90's. Until now, looks like For Crying Out Loud won't have b-sides, the deluxe edition has only demos and the King Power Stadium gig.

Best opening and best gig by them I've been to. If they could give me this again, I'll be on my way to my 10th Kasabian gig in November. Yet, Tom Meighan ain't Liam Gallagher. He can be sweet, but prick at same time.

Where does it say that For Crying Out Loud will have demos on the deluxe version? I can't find anywhere that says that, but it would be great to have it true

I'd say:
-Empire -Kasabian -WRLPA/Velociraptor! (WRLPA has better songs IMO on the first half, but the 2nd half is pretty boring for me and on V! I like EVERY song and they kind of feel like the same album in 2 parts) -48:13 which I still like!

I know they changed the release date but come onnnn,Chasing Yesterday was leaked a month before the release We don't have even any single review, and the album is going to be released in 9 days. It's probably their first album without a lot of leaks, all we've listened until now was the band who gave us.

People who buy CDs will buy it independent of its quality. If the album receives a nice reception, then more people will buy it on shops, but if it's not, people won't buy it as if they had listen to the leak and not enjoyed it. I'd say you should buy it only by Ill Ray (The King). I've already ordered the Deluxe Edition from the official shop and the Standard here in Brazil

What happened to this band was they fell into the same band crashing machine Coldplay did. They started wearing pink t shirts and recording electronic pop songs. Just think about it.
