Eleanor Rigby? You kidding me? It's an amazing song no doubt, but wouldn't you rather have had I Am the Walrus or Hey Jude? Anyway, with this knowledge in mind, I think we need a catchy pop song to lighten things up! Or at least pick up the pace! Eleanor Rigby after I Wanna Be Adored? Geez! What a one-two punch of very dark, haunting songs! Either that, or maybe this is meant to be a dark album. Here are my nominations: Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus Oasis - Live Forever I have a feeling that this round is gonna be BRUTAL because there are so many great track threes. May the best song win! No I would rather have had Strawberry Fields Forever or A Day In The Life. Yes, I know I nominated Eleanor Rigby. Oh well. |

Glad to see 'America' already being nominated, so I wouldn't have to turn down one of these two EPIC tracks: The Doors - The Crystal Ship Tom Waits - Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis Just realised none of my nominated tracks would fit in very well after Eleanor Rigby. Guess I'll have to come up with two other that does... Edit: After some thinking, why bother? Live Forever is gonna win anyway, and it would actually fit in perfectly after those two tracks. |

if 'live forever' wins the third spot i'm cool with that, but i hope it's not a blowout, because there has been a lot of great tracks nominated. this one should be quite a battle.

New Year's Day - U2 With or Without You - U2 Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix God Put a Smile Upon Your Face - Coldplay High and Dry - Radiohead Scar Tissue - RHCP Which U2 song you'd put on the poll is up to you, since those three are some of their best and would cannibalize each other if they were on the same poll. |

IF, however, live forever wasn't a choice, in my opinion, a number of tracks could have a good chance of winning... please know i am not at all trying to influence the voting, i'm just making a prediction based on pure logic. |
