One of his best lyrical works to be nominated for track 10:
Bob Dylan - It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding

Awesome to see that You Can't Always Get What You Want won! It would've been cool to see the Coldplay song pull it off, but a Stones classic like that winning is great and much-needed. Track 10 noms: R.E.M. - Man on the Moon U2 - Ultra Violet (Light My Way) Automatic For The People has arguably the greatest last three track sequence ever.

I must say that Psycho Killer stands out - mainly due to this live solo performance to kick off a Talking Heads gig. Best start to a gig ever?

Man on the Moon/Nightswimming/Find the River; very few albums' endings can even touch that. That's three of the band's greatest songs right there, all right next to each other.

Reviving this thread with my track 10 nominations AIR - 'Alone in Kyoto' ( youtube link) One of my favorite instrumental tracks ever. It's the sound of early morning and of summer breeze. It has zero chances of winning but I had to nominate it anyway! If you listen to it, you'll probably love it. The Cure - 'Disintegration' ( youtube link) This is a monster and quite simply one of the most epic and gut-wrenching songs ever recorded. A total masterpiece (well, the whole album is to be honest). The Dandy Warhols - 'Bohemian Like You' ( youtube link) Yeah, the riff is borrowed from a very well known Stones track and the song was featured in a Vodafone TV ad a decade ago or so... but man, it's still addictive as fuck! Underrated band, by the way.

I'd like to nominate Blur - Sweet Song
Seriously, get on this one like your life depends on it. This is possibly the most heart-wrenchingly beautiful musical tearjerker that has ever touched my ears. Fuck you Damon Albarn, for writing a song this good. It makes me want to go out and break the fucker's heart, not only because I'm envious of his songwriting abilities, but because I want him to write a sorrowful song this good about me.

Jeez, I completely forgot that this Blur song ever existed. How? I have no idea - it's beautiful, I remember constantly listening to it in the spring of 2012. A song that is synonymous with that time, thanks for the reminder!

Sorry, been too focused on Liam and Noel's new music the last couple of weeks. Who can blame me - I'm drowning in some excellent music at the moment!
