did anyone ever mention that it's clearly heavily influenced by San Tropez by Pink Floyd?

I'll have to give it a listen sometime and see. It's probably going to be near identical but I don't want my love for WOMS to be soiled completely. It's my faouvrite Beady Eye song and one of Liam's best, most effective vocals of the 00s.

did anyone ever mention that it's clearly heavily influenced by San Tropez by Pink Floyd? Yes it had been mentioned many many times around 6 years ago. Andy went knee deep into Meddle around 2010.

A very distant cousin you only see once or twice in a lifetime. To me it sound more like the beatles White album era.
anyway, best beady eye song ever. Let's hope liam solo record is like that song

Nice to see some love for World Outside My Room. A charming little ditty, I think.

I love that they actually played the song live too. They opened with it at the Atlantico Pavilion in Lisbon (I think), and it was a weird opener right after the instrumental Yellow Tail. But later on, it went into the encore and they didn't just ditch it after one outing!
I give them a lot of respect for giving their bsides some love in the setlist. Yes, they didn't have THAT many songs but still, it counts.

If you can steal and come up with something good/great then its worth doing.

Same groove/vibe but compositionally the melodies and chord progressions are not similar. But I have to ask - isn't it odd that your love for a song can be soiled by its similarity to another song when you're on an OASIS forum? 😜 (Nothing against our Noely G, but it's not exactly a secret that - even during his golden years - he was always one of the most unashamed "lifters" in the biz.)

One of my favourites, should of been on DGSS. Love Liam's laid back vocal, we rarely get to hear him sing in this style and I think he should do it more often, another example is Back After The Break.
