Personally, id hate to own up to purchasing a 3 disc special edition of hc. However I would love to hear some early demos of liam, gem and andy (but especially liam) when starting to write songs for oasis. Also really like to hear the demo for the roller!

Only if the 3rd disc is Finsbury Park. I just think the 00's will be reissued at some point in a 1 and 2 disc edition. On the 2nd disc there will be the b-sides, non-album tracks, demo's and some live songs.

Buying reissues of the first three albums (even accounting for the gloriously flawed third one) is like buying the finest Rolex watches. But a Heathen Chemistry reissue would be akin to buying one of Del Boy's knock off deep sea diver watches. But even for those who do like the album, is there anything substantial in the vaults that we've yet to hear, aside from The Roller demo? Aside from the odd gigs here and there, it would need an awful lot of extra padding to fill three discs.

Yeah, because of all the CDs you'd like to have stick out in the collection, you don't want it to be the single disc of Heathen Chemistry squished in with all the other reissues. And yeah, the b-sides, demos, and live tracks would be fine.

Now you mention it Jessica, if there are demos done in the more neo-psychedelic form of The Hindu Times then I'd be intrigued to hear them.

I was under the impression that it was from the HC onwards that all 4 members started doing tons of demos for each album? So yes I would 100% buy it, if only for a few moments of unreleased oasis magic.
I fully expect a 20th anniversary HC to come out and there be half a dozen unreleased songs on it that leave us wondering how on earth they didn't end up making the final cut.

Disc 1
The Hindu Times (Remastered) Force of Nature (Remastered) Hung in a Bad Place (Remastered) Stop Crying Your Heart Out (Remastered) Songbird (Remastered) Little By Little (Remastered) A Quick Peep (Remastered) (Probably) All in the Mind (Remastered) She Is Love (Remastered) Born on a Different Cloud (Remastered) Better Man (Remastered) The Cage (Remastered)
Disc 2
My Generation (Remastered) Shout It Out Loud (Remastered) Just Getting Older (Remastered) Thank You for the Good Times (Remastered) Idler's Dream (Remastered) Columbia (live) (Remastered) Merry Xmas Everybody (Remastered)
Disc 3
The Hindu Times (live at MTV Superdry) The Hindu Times (demo) Force Of Nature (live at Finsbury Park) Stop Crying Your Heart Out (demo) Little By Little (live at Finsbury Park) Stop Crying Your Heart Out (live at the Troubadour) Born on a Different Cloud (live at Witness Festival) Idler's Dream (demo) The Roller (demo) My Generation (live at Finsbury Park)
Only clocking in at 7 tracks on Disc 2 and 10 tracks on Disc 3. It could be padded out more, but unless there are unreleased tracks we don't know about I don't really see the point of adding a live take of Better Man. Even adding The Roller I believe is extremely optimistic. But there are markedly fewer tracks than on previous reissues and the consensus seem to be that they're worse tracks too. I think I'd still pay for a reissue with the above tracklisting but it'd have to be cheap as I can't really see enough people wanting it for it to be released.

I'd love Heathen Chemistry to have a completely new mix. They surely must've kept the original audio tracks; give them to a proper producer, let him/her work and let's see what happens. I think it deserves it. It's the worst sound* Oasis ever managed to have. Also, it's always interesting to hear demos and outtakes and all that, doesn't matter the album.
*BHN was muddier and sloppier, of course, but at least they knew which direction they're supposed to go. In HC they sound like a sad Oasis cover band at times.

If the 3rd disk was filled with weird and wonderful things then quite possibly yes. If it was filled with live versions of Force of Nature and acoustic versions of Little By Little and She is Love then absolutely not.

Anyone saying NO here will be amongst the first in line should it happen.
Same goes for the reunion nay-sayers.
Shit album, though. Can't see the rest of the Disc being treated the same. DM-WTS-BHN is Oasis in all its glory.
Can't see management only pandering to hard core fans....they need the rest of the economic market. The demand remains with just us, and that's it.

I probably wouldn't, but I'd buy a SOTSOG one even if we have plenty of bonus material from that album, I just love that era.

That's the one album of theirs I can't listen to. It's so mediocre. There are only two or three halfway decent songs on there—the rest are tired cliches or table scraps. Oh, and the production is awful, and Liam's voice was plain bad. (It says a lot that the most of the best songs from that era were left off the album.)
It's the only album I don't think is worth revisiting.

Dude I don't buy music anymore...I mean who the fuck does that? Spotify bruh!!!
KIDDING.
This is fuckin' Oasis we are talking about here. If someone tried to sell you a chunk of gold for £10 wouldn't you buy it?? Heck I'd make that purchase drunk or sober. Heathen Chemistry is GOLD and deserves to be treated as such. Oasis is Oasis.
