I just posted this in the news section, mods feel free to merge and ting. What do you think Jim? I like it. Wonder how this came about? It's been a long, long time since Noel has been involved in a remix isn't it. Loving Noel's new work ethic :-) Wonder if Weller will be on Noel's third album if they've been in the studio together doing this? Also, Syd Arthur, like Weller, are another band who've been involved with the AA so Noel is still moving in those circles... (Sorry sleeping dog, I just had to tickle your ear there).

I saw Syd Arthur supporting Weller in 2012. I think Weller has done a collaboration with Syd before. mossy, I merged your thread with this one. Cheers. I quite like this song.

Good stuff. I like hearing that Noel is involved in interesting projects. It could be a good sign for things to come.

I'm into it, really like the sound. I'd heard a few of Syd Arthur's tunes a few years back and I got a hold of their AA remix ep, which was excellent. No matter what Noel had to say about the cancelled AA album and the tit for tat nonsense around the release of Chasing Yesterday that circle of bands / producers (The AA, Toydrum, Wizard Sleeve and David Holmes) have obviously made a big impact on him so hopefully these vibes will make it onto his new album. I do think Weller will make an appearance this time. With this remix, the cowritten Monkees track, being involved with Crossing Over a year or so back then the opportunity is definitely there and could be pushed in the same manner as with Johnny Marr's involvement with Ballad of the Mighty I.
