Apologies if this is the wrong section as I see a few things have changed since I was last here!
Anyway, the thread subject is basically the question. I know a few extras were added to the deluxe version(s) of 'BE', but with the actual singles, why were there a lack of b-sides?

The bonus tracks were the b-sides, instead of getting a b-side every single we got them all in one go as bonus tracks.

its possible that the DGSS singles didnt sell all that well so didnt bother too much with the singles on BE, instead going for "bonus tracks" as most people who will buy the album will go ahead and buy the deluxe anyway, anyone who doesnt can still pick up the singles.
they shouldve stuck evil eye on the soul love single, a double A side for beady eye at that late stage in the game was a total waste of time and money.
overall though, the extra tracks ARE the B sides, they just decided to release them at that start, probably a wise decision tbh.

B sides dont exist anymore, well except for the vinyl market but that's only for a few die hard fans.
Now it's album or deluxe album. It has been for quite a few years.

A market for b-sides does not really exist anymore. 'Bonus tracks' are now the way forward for artists who look to give the hardcore fans that bit more.

Because none of them are true songwriters. At least not anymore.

The bonus tracks were the b-sides, and they stupidly pissed away the best post-Oasis Gallagher song as one of them.

A lack of Beady Eye songs, on any level, is generally considered a GOOD thing. Period.
