I thought it would be fun to speculate what we think the tour setlist is going to look like, going off bastardnumber1's comments he is planning on playing both Oasis and Beady Eye numbers to make up the set so with that in mind I'd imagine something like this: 1) Intro 2) New Song 3) Flick Of The Finger 4) New Song 5) Cigarettes & Alcohol 6) Soul Love 7) New Song 8) New Song 9) D'You Know What I Mean? 10) Bring The Light 11) Songbird 12) New Song 13) Listen Up (Liam mentioned playing it in the interview) 14) Wigwam 15) New Song 16) Live Forever 17) New Song 18) Cover of something to end. That isn't necessarily my dream setlist but we are going for predictions here on what we think it will look like, not our dream Liam set list. I think that's a great mixture of New, Oasis and Beady eye stuff, would be very very happy with that. I'm not so sure he will play Beady Eye songs that he didn't write so I didn't include them, I could be wrong though. What is everyone else's thinking?

A 10 song setlist would be ideal, not so much to warm up his voice for his actual tour, but not little enough to complain about it.
Start Anew New Song #1(high tempo rocker) Flick New Song #2(acoustic one) or Soul Love The Meaning of The Soul Guess God Thinks Im Abel Songbird New Song #3 Born In a Different Cloud Sons of The stage or a different cover song

I hope he plays a lot of Oasis songs. He is who he is because of those amazing songs anyway.
Would love to listen to Bring it on down, Columbia, Headshrinker, D'you Know What I Mean and Rocking Chair, for a start.

He should do the kind of Oasis songs that Noel would never do solo - a bit like they did in Beady Eye. Rock N Roll Star, Bring it On Down, Headshrinker, Cigarettes & Alcohol...the fast stuff, none of the standard Oasis songs. I also very much expect him to do the entirety of his first record, which should be like 9-12 songs.
Beady Eye songs...I don't know. I feel like his BDI contributions don't include too many of their best songs. Wigwam, Morning Son, Flick of the Finger, Soul Love, that should be enough.
Please, PLEASE no Meaning of Soul, Better Man etc. As far as Liam-written Oasis songs go, the only really good ones IMO are the two singles, I'm Outta Time and Songbird.
That leaves me with Solo songs: around 10 Oasis classics: around 4 Beady Eye/Oasis songs written by him: about 6
That's 20 which is already too much. I feel like he absolutely needs do play as many of his new songs as possible, or it will be seen as a "Greatest Oasis hits but without the actual band" tour and that would be terrible.

I'd personally prefer him playing his own songs. He could have toured playing Oasis songs all night with Beady Eye - which were actually 80% of Oasis - but they split, because Liam wanted the new stuff to be successfull and it wasn't. If he starts playing gigs where 50%+ is Oasis material, he will fill venues easily, but it's not exactly the best promotion (or artistic statement), especially when the Oasis songs will very likely be better than his solo songs.

Liam struggles on the released version of My Big Mouth (1st night at Knebworth). He sounds much better on the 2nd night. That's because he sings it different. I wonder how he would do it in an acoustic setting were he doesn't have to shout. And a capo makes it a lot easier.

I can't see him doing Songbird any more, considering it was written for his now ex-wife I believe.

I really think Liam should cover The Beatles "Girl" as a B-Side or at least play live, would be perfect for him to do and in tone with the acoustic Lennon-y vibe he claims to have going for the new record.

I don't see him doing any beady eye songs tbh.....They are all pretty terrible. Maybe "Flick of The Finger" and that's about it... 6-7 Oasis songs 4-5 new songs a cover and that's it.
I don't think Liam is proud of Beady Eye tbh

He's definitely going to play Noel written classic Oasis songs this time around. ✌️

Last night I dreamt I got tickets to Liam's first gig (a fan only warm up) and it was all nu-rave flashing lights, pop music and Liam was... dancing.
I also dreamt Noel's third album had come out and the sleeve was knitted.

He needs to do champagne supernova, its the one song that noel cannot do as good as liam that everyone can sing to. That will draw the masses.

Id go for supersonic as a cover tbh, havnt heard him sing that since 2009, its one hes likely to pull off without much issue, would be cool to hear it again.
he could easily open out with "hello" for its good to be back like Noel opened with its good to be free but opening his new solo venture with a Noel tune probably wouldnt be the best choice.

Guess what? It's happening. I know, sadly they say Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. How about we discuss that in a year ? Well it wasn't a suicidal decision before and won't be when he goes on tour this time. Because you don't like it doesn't mean its a bad decision. Most people won't give a fuck.
