Probably self produced, and Liam is playing all instruments. Should be good !

Dave Sardy wouldn't be the worst since he delivered 3 great albums with and a great remix: Morning Glory (D Sardy Mix)

Dan Auerbach was rumored for Noel. but i'd like to hear what he would do with Liam
He's a got a very raw sound that would fit Liam's voice and songs.

I've heard in certain circles that Brendan Benson is in fact involved. That's all that I was told. I'll keep poking around. He's got strong Michigan ties so there's a chance I can find out some details. I've been listening to some bits he has produced recently and I can see him fitting in with a Liam solo record. I'd say it's odds on to be him judging from the rumours.

I can't see a Warner Brothers release, produced by someone like BJM's Anton Newcombe, with a typicall edgy Lo-fi treatment.
It will probably be someone established who worked for the label before, maybe Dan Auerbach or even Richard Swift.

I personally hope he's working with Daft Punk. That would be awesome. I can't cope with another Beatles cover album.

Don't know who's producing it, but according to this guy I know, whose son is best mates with Debbie Gwyther, it's finished, it's great, and Liam's currently/has been recently having it mastered again. I guess that last bit is encouraging. Sounds like he's put more thought and care into it than they did with Different Gear, Still Speeding, which they put out even after the guy who was supposed to be producing it fucked off halfway into recording.

Nice one mate. Mastered again? So it's already been mastered and they are re doing it?

Who was the guy who produced Chasing Yesterday again? Liam should get him, they would probably get along great.

as long as its not steve lillywhite Ill throw confetti. not having that guy, you start a project, you see it through, nothing more, nothing less..Im not denying that DGSS was a lackluster effort but he mustve heard what songs hed be dealing with, to walk out half way through is unprofessional simply put. the only thing Id say in his defense is that beady eye maybe refused to take on his advice about things because it was their record and wernt under the thumb of Noel anymore and he simply felt "well you do it then if you know best" which I can see a side to. live4ever.proboards.com/thread/75572/steve-lillywhite-letting-rip-twitter

It's been in more girls than you've had hot dinners. So no, I'm not doing another take you fookin' potato." Steve had to quit the sessions shortly after, as he was so emasculated he was unable to look the band in the eye from then on...

Hope Liam's voice isn't too high in mix, this time. That was a fucking calamitous error, with the BE album, I think.
